Laura: is a short, tan, smart, 13 year old. She is shy and a teacher pet. Life is not always easy but, her best friend is always there for her.
Ross: is a tall, light skinned, not so smart, 13 year old. He may come off as a little rude to people. Yet he is always therefore his best friend.
Now on to the story

Laura
Today has got to be one of the worst days ever. First, I get woken up by my parents yelling. Second, I'm late to school. Third, Well, umm I ..... got nothing that is it I think. Hopefully that is all of it, I mean the day is not over. O, Ross is coming over thank you, he is the only one who get me.
"Hey Rossy." I said. "Hey laur-bear!" Ross replied. "Ross, really we are going back to that, you have not called me that since we were 5." I said with a smile one my face. Ross sure know how to put a smile on my face. "Well Laura by the smile on you face I can tell you like that nickname, but the main reason I called you that is to get you back for calling me Rossy." He said. "Okay okay you got me I love it when we use nicknames. So, what did I miss in first period." "Not much just adding numbers to make bigger number like we have been doing since we were in kindergarten." Ross said with a annoyed look. Ross didn't like it when we talked about math. "Okay well let's get to second period, Science it is not the best class but, at lest we are partners." I said as we walked hand in hand to the Science room.
Ross
I am on my way to Science with Laura right now. I wanted to ask if she was okay but I figured I better not. She doesn't like it when we walk about her parents fighting with each other. I mean I get it I would not want talk about it ether if I were in her shoes. It is just she is my best friend and I want to make sure she is okay.
"If something was on your mind, you would
tell me right?" I said to Laura as we walk through the doors to Science and set in our seats. "Of course if something was on my mind you would be the first person I would go to." She replied as she kissed my cheek and got her book out. "Good I was just making sure. Hey do you want to come over after school?" I asked. "I would love too. Also you do remember we are neighbors right?" " I remember I was just making sure you wanted too." I said looking at my notes. Of course Laura was already ready to write notes from the lesson, her grade are perfect just like like her.
Wait what? I didn't just say that. I mean she is my best friend of course I think she is smart and gets good grades. She is so pretty too. Okay what is wrong with me I can't think that way about my best friend. Can I? No I can't. What is wrong with me today. I just need to think about the Science lesson and not my Science partner.
