False. Mitchell Kern is not secretly gay, bi, pan, or anything other than straight.
2. Shelby Owens is gay.
Neutral.
3. Brandon is too hard on his dad.
False. I'll leave that up to you, but I say no.
4. Brandon is gay.
False. Brandon is bisexual.
5. Marshall is kind of cool.
True. Marshall is a cool kid with no bad intentions about 75% of the time.
6. Conner and Brandon's friendship doesn't/didn't seem real.
True. Brandon's only real friend before Conner moved away, so he thought the affection Conner showed him equaled friendliness.
7. Brandon is a jerk.
Neutral. Brandon is definitely advantaged in ways, and disadvantaged in others, so he just treats people the way he's been treated, good or bad.
8. Pipp is the devil.
True. She is the worst person Brandon has ever met.
9. Christina is nosy.
Neutral. Christina is still very new to the school, and she wants to be able to trust the few friends she has at the moment.
