CHAPTER 16

Jessica's POV     

       I ended up playing a song i wrote while i was here for my monthly 'release' session with Mrs. Honey. I was really insecure about singing and Mrs. Honey knows that. But i trust her, and i know that she won't judge me if it sounds terrible. I started off with a simple melody on guitar, and began to sing. 

Little girl terrified,

She'd leave her room if only bruises would heal

And home is no place to hide

Her heart is breaking from the pain that she feels

    I trailed of softly as the song came to a close. I looked up and Mrs. Honey was smiling at me. "That was very good, extremely good Jessica but who's the song about?" She asked. "What do you mean?" She smiled in a weird way. "Well, you're not sixteen yet. Now who's the song about.?" My voice was nearly inaudible as i realized who i had written it about. "Demi".
