Out to dinner

Riley's POV:

Tonight we decided to go out to dinner with my whole family and Katy and Shawn, since Maya basically already lives with us.
I love how much time I get to spend with her.
It's practice for when we're married and living together.
In these past years of basically living with maya, I learned a lot of knew things about her.
For example she is not a morning person.

But that's besides the point.

I'm sitting next to my mom and Auggie on the other side of me and my dad next to my mom, then on the other side of the table Maya is directly across from me, Katy across from my mom, and Shawn across from my dad.

Maya and I are texting since we shouldn't be talking about what we're talking about in front of our family:

Maya: when we get home oh boy. Riley that sexy tight dress of yours is gonna be ripped off your body
Riley: two can play at that game😍
Maya: don't bite your lip I saw that don't make it obvious dipshit
Riley: wow what a good girlfriend you are
Maya: the best😚
Riley: 😒🙄
Maya: fuck you don't use those emojis with me
Riley: can I please
Maya: I love this side of you. Stay angry with me babe. I mean you fucking asshole
Riley: stfu this isn't helping the moment at all
Maya: 😇you love me
Riley: do i?
Maya: I think you do. But I can't remember. Guess you gotta prove it to me😉
Riley: alright Lucas
Maya: what the fuck does that horse ass licking rodeo mother fucker cowboy say to you that's in any way similar to what I say to you??!
Riley: calm down I'm kidding because he always uses that emoji
Maya: you scared me thinking he flirts with you and shit. I was about to kick some cowboy ass
Riley: I know you would
Maya: ANYWAY
Riley: yeah okay the moment is over now.
(...) pretend these are the three dots that shows they're typing over iMessage okay? Okay

Uncle Shawn brings our attention back to the table by saying,
"For being in love you two don't talk much do you?"

We laugh and Maya says,
"No trust me we talk more than you know."

He says,
"Do I wanna know?"

Riley and I look at each other and look back saying simultaneously,
"No."

Shawn and my dad laugh and I see maya out the corner of my eye staring at my lips licking her own.
It makes me squirm the slightest bit in my seat. God I hate how much she gets to me.

I say,
"I'm going to the bathroom maya you wanna come?"

She gets up and says,
"Sure."

My dad grabs my wrist and says as we were walking past,
"By going to the bathroom do you mean making out alone?"

I see maya grin widely and nod her head which makes all the adults and myself laugh.
He lets go and we walk politely since we're in heels to the bathroom.

I push open the door and maya grabs it allowing me to enter first.
When she gets in after, I look around at the open stalls and say,
"We're clear."

She immediately grabs my waist and smashes our lips together as they move in sync.
Our tongues battle for entrance and dance together  as my hands gently move to her face, rubbing her cheek with my thumb.
We back up to the wall then let go for air. Maya says in between breaths,
"Thank God we don't wear lipstick."

I laugh and say,
"Okay we should go back before we get too into it. We are at a fancy restaurant and this can get bad fast."

She purses her lips together and says,
"Yeah okay."

She kisses my cheek and grabs my hand and I intertwine our fingers and we make sure our hair and makeup is still good and walk back out to the table letting go of our hands.

This is what happens every time we go out to dinner.
And I love it.

But sometimes I prefer to order take out..

Hopefully you get that little joke last line hahahah dirty Riley.
