Epilogue

10 years later...

"Mommy" I heard my daughter call from the living room.

"What sweetie?" I questioned her as I walked into the living room to find her sitting on Calum's lap.

I looked at him and began laughing.

His face was covered in makeup.

"Look mommy doesn't daddy look pretty!" She giggled as she looked up at Calum.

"Yes very pretty" I smiled widely at the two of them as I watched them from the doorway.

Calum began tickling her as she fell in his lap and couldn't control her laughter.

The smile on his face made my heart melt.

Somedays I still questioned how I got so lucky to call him my husband.

"Sophia, we gotta go clean up before Uncle Luke comes over" cal told her.

Sophia jumped up excitedly and ran upstairs.

Calum got up and made his way over to me, smiling from ear to ear.

He kissed my forehead, probably leaving lipstick on it, but I didn't care.

"I love you" he whispered as he pulled me into a hug.

"I love you too" I told him as I held him tight.

"So we have something to tell you guys" Abby said as she sat beside Luke and held his hand.

"What is it?" I asked.

She looked over at Luke as he gave her a reassuring smile.

"I'm pregnant" she told us with a smile.

"Oh my god!" I yelled.

"That's- holy fudge I'm gonna be an aunt!" I exclaimed as I smiled like an idiot.

Abby laughed at how I stopped myself from saying Fuxk.

"Congrats" Calum said congratulating them.

"Thanks bro" Luke smiled.

I heard the front door open and Michael's familiar voice yell "I brought pizza!"

We all laughed and in came Michael, Erin, Ashton, and Tyler.

"Mikey!!" Sophia squealed as she ran over to him.

He bent down to pick her up.

"Hey kiddo" he greeted her as he held her in his arms.

"I got to do daddy's makeup today" she informed Michael.

He looked over at Calum and chuckled.

"Oh really?" He questioned her.

"Ya! He looked so pretty" she said excitedly.

Everyone laughed.

"What can I say? She's a good makeup artist" cal explained.

"So Abby I heard the news!" Tyler chimmed in.

"Oh ya congrats guys!" Erin added.

"Thank you" Abby said with a huge smile.

"What are we waiting for? Let's celebrate!" Michael cheered as he set Sophia down and handed everyone some pizza.

I looked around and smiled as I thought to myself.

Maybe it's true that 'sometimes bad things have to happen before good things can'.

My life just happened to be living proof of that statement.
