Chapter Seven: New Friends

"Damn! It's already 5:30!" Alex exclaimed as he looked at his watch

"Wow. Time really does go fast when you're having fun," Sarah said, surprised

"It really does," I nodded in agreement, I felt a gaze burning through the side of my head, so I turned to find Andrew with a questioning look

"What?" I asked, was something on my face?

"You haven't heard of me before, have you?" He asked, clearly baffled

"No, why?" I asked

"Andrew's a singer," Sarah bluntly stated

"You are?" I asked, looking back at Andrew

"Haha, yeah" he laughed nervously as he scratched the nape of his neck

"Ohh, that's cool!" I grinned

"Maybe one day, you guys can perform a duet," Alex suggested

"Maybe," I laughed

"Do you guys want to go to the park?" Sarah asked

"I don't see why not," I shrugged and looked at the rest of them, to see that they had nodded their heads.

"Wow, this is a cool place," I murmured as I looked around at the scenery

"Yeah it is, I've been coming here ever since I could remember, and each time feels like the first," Sarah said

"And to think they were thinking of bringing down this park" Alex said, shaking his head disapprovingly

"Why?" I asked

"No one knows," Alex shrugged before walking

Sarah and I looked at each other, before racing each other to the swings, and then begging Alex and Andrew to push us. They hesitated at first, but then agreed, Alex pushed Sarah as Andrew pushed me

"I just realised," Sarah said as she stopped swinging

"What,"

"I still don't have your number," she giggled

"It's -"

"Me neither," Alex and Andrew chorused

"It's xxx-xxx-xxx" I smiled, 

"Thanks," they chorused, okay. The whole simultaneous thing is getting a bit creepy

"You're welcome, I know it's kind of soon, but... Can we take a picture? I need a background photo," I blushed, nervously

"Sure!"

"So what  was your background photo before?" Alex asked

"My friends; Bree and Kelly, uhh" I stopped, oh God, Bree and Kelly!

"What?" Andrew asked

"I never told them about my new life" I explained

"New life?" Sarah asked, with a curious look

"It's a long story," I replied, in all honesty, I couldn't tell anyone just yet... It's too soon.

"Alright," Sarah says, eyeing me suspiciously

"So you never told them about your 'new life'" Alex confirmed, putting invisible quotation marks on new life

"No, I totally forgot about them... I'm a bad friend." I looked down shamefully

"No you're not. You just forgot, it's normal" Sarah assured

"Yeah, they can't blame you for forgetting" Alex reasoned

"Yeah, I bet they'll forgive you, you're their friend" Andrew added

"Thanks guys, for making me feel beter...So are we all friends?"

"OF COURSE!!!" They screamed

"You guys are the best" I grinned

"We know," Andrew smirked, I rolled my eyes

"Andrew, we gotta go" Alex said

"Aww, so early?" Sarah pouted

"Yea. Sorry babe, mom is making us go home early cause of the smoke bomb at school" Smoke bomb? What.

We said our good byes and hugged them before they left

"So what do you want to do now?" Sarah asked

"Wanna go to my house?" I asked

"sure," she nodded

"wow, cool house" 

"That's what I said" I laughed

"Hey Adri, hey -uhh" Beau greeted as he came from the kitchen

"What's her name?" he whispered

"Sarah," she answered

"hi sarah!" he waved

"Hi" she waved back

"We'll just be going upstairs," I smiled at Beau, he nodded before going back to the living room

"Wow," was all Sarah said

"I wonder where everybody is?" I muttered, it sounded really quiet

"ahhh!"

"I think they might be downstairs" Sarah laughed

"Probably," I joked, before we made our way back downstairs

"What happened?" i asked

"Beau made a mess," Ariana infrormed

"Is there anything we can do?" I asked

"Just get Beau," she smiled

"Sarah, we're gonna get Beau"

"Easy." she stated 

"Alright, but just warning you. It might be hard," I warned

"It's alright, I've got three pigs for brothers," she joked, well at least I think she is

"Beau are you in here?" I asked

"If you just come out, it will be alot easier for everybody," she stated, a sneeze was heard from beneath the bathroom sink, inside the drawer. We both looked at each other before opening the door,

"Beau, get out!"  he crawled out, and me and Sarah pulled him to the kitchen

"What the heck" Jai and Luke said simultaneously

"Mom, he's here," I announced

"Clean this up," she ordered

"How do you know it's me?" Beau asked, which was kind of funny because on the counter it said Beau was Here in ketchup and mustard

"Ok, it was me" he admitted

"How often does this happen?" Sarah asked

"Couple times a month" Ariana answered

"Wow" Sarah said

"Not to be rude or anything but -"

"Who are you?" Jai asked, cutting Luke off

"I'm Sarah. Sarah Wright," she greeted

"Well it's nice to meet you, I'm going to sleep" Jai spoke
