"Let's start from the top."

Sunlight is merely peeking behind verdant leaves of the tall tree that's embracing us in its shade, warm rays of light falling to our face. And the clouds above were racing in an endless lap. No more and no less than a pleasing amusement. The wind would heave a gentle blow against our hair, taking them in flights for quite the while too.

"My name is Huang Renjun. From China. Born on March 33, 2000---" he stopped abruptly upon the millionth sigh from me. Then he gazed over, his eyes asking of what's wrong.

"It's March 23. And there's no date such as 33 in any month," I corrected.

He only grinned sheepishly then laughed at his own mistake.

His laughter was of a dangling chime I always loved in each gentle blow from  the wind.

There's a deep ocean in his glistening eyes, hidden behind his smile. They are drowning me. And I might wake up at the bottom of that ocean surrounded by rainbow-like corals.

My eyes traveled across his soft face and to his slightly curved-up lips. I'm glad that he still got the smile of a wingless angel. I would always pray for the heavens to let him keep that smile forever.

His cute snaggletooth was shown along with his pearly white ones. Then I returned a smile just at the sight.

"My bad. The name is Huang Renjun, born on March... uh... what is it again?"

"23."

"Right. March 23, 2000. And I'm from China. And I'm in love with moomin. I like spicy hotpots... And you're my best friend since childhood," he glances over his shoulder, shooting me a sly smirk.

"And what's my name?" raising an eyebrow, I challenged.

He sat up from the bed of grass as a blank expression was perfectly sketched onto his face, probably from contemplating too much.

But I don't want him to struggle in recalling the forgotten memory. It's making me feel bad.

It's just been a week since he woke up from comma. He had been sleeping on the hospital bed for a month with life-saving machines hooked on his body. Though he had a temporary loss of various memories, having him back is more than enough.

"Hey, you don't have to answer---"

"Min Hyenji, the most beautiful girl I have ever seen," his whispering voice tickled my ear and almost shivering.

I blinked many times. My cheeks, flushed, as I averted my gaze from his melting stare.

"Yah!" my hand made its way to hit him on the elbow.

"Ouch, what was that for!?" a loud laughter erupted from his lips, breaking the awkward silence.

"Do you even know how to compliment? That was so sarcastic!" I groaned and huffed my cheeks.

He laughed again and laid himself down next to me. We're quiet for a while, only watching the clouds flying across the horizons, casting shadows.

"Hyenji?"

"Hmm?"

"I'm a good friend. True or false?" I can sense him watching me from the corner of my eyes.

"Half true and half false."

"I'll take that as compliment," from his tone, he's utterly smiling. Such an arrogant guy.

"Okay. Pick one. A or B?" he speaks again. He can't shut his mouth, can he?

"A," I turned to him and waited for his answer, hoping that I chose the right option to his new prank.

"Then we have to stay here and watch the sunset until six," he grinned.

"And what's B?"

"B is also to stay here and watch the sunset until six."
