Nicole Anderson had a normal life. She played sports, was very active in school,just like any other teenage girl that is until her older sister Courtney died 2 years ago from a car accident. Ever since the accident her life has completely flipped upside down.

Her dad Shawn started abusing her about a year later after Courtney has passed. Beatings after beatings, pretty surprised Nicole hasn't died yet. With her mother Shannon working 3rd shift,she's never there to witness the beatings that go on in their household even if she was there, he would pretend to be the sweet loving husband she thinks he is.

Nicole is 17 and attends North High School,she goes to school as if she has a normal life but when really its a living hell. From everything that has happened to Nicole she doesn't want nothing to do with guys, thinking there somewhat like her own father.

But when Jacob Harrison moves to North High and wants to get to know more about Nicole, will she let him into her life or is she scared of getting hurt more than she already has.
