This story began when I met a
boy called Huang Renjun,

-and we thought we had it all.

Our lives collided. From a little spark to an enormous firework, we lighted quickly.

As if the heavens made us only for each other. As if there is a gap between time just for us to meet. As if we died as heroes from our past lives to experience this greatness.

Our hands fit perfectly. His smile would be the reflection of mine. His eyes held the colors I love the most. While mine held the colors he's always looking for. The sight of his snaggletooth as he holds back a laugh is my daily dose of happiness, just at the same time my dimples as his.

He always mention the word euphoria, which means a feeling or state of intense excitement and glee. Yet, he says, euphoria is not when we see each other every break of afternoon, but way more, like when we snuggle close and drifting to sleep.

All in all, we're meant for each other, that's what we think.

But we never thought that we're not promised by tomorrow.

Every look, every smile, every laugh, every memory, everything that we shared - all gone, just by a single snap of fingers from fate.

We tried, but it was never enough. The burden on our shoulders were too much.

We ended this way.

We are e p h e m e r a l .
