Blueberry was upset. He had been for days now. And no matter how much Undernovella they watched or how many things they knitted, it didn't seem to cheer him up. The little blueberry was depressed. And Error didn't know what to do to make things better again.

"You want to...answer some more questions from the voices?" Error suggested, giving him a small smile.

From his place curled up on the floor, Blue shook his head sadly.

"Uh...I can steal some more chocolate from Underfell. You liked that."

Blue just sighed and turned away from him, covering himself with his cape like a blanket.

Error frowned. "Come on, Blue... How can I cheer you up?"

Blueberry hesitated to answer. "I just...I really miss him." He finally said.

"Who?" Error asked in confusion.

The other sat up, pulling his knees up to his chest and hugging his legs close. He stayed quiet for a few moments again. "...Papy. And Alphys. And Undyne. And...and...even that annoying dog." His blue eyes started filling with tears and he quickly wiped them away.

"But...they're...they're abominations... They shouldn't have even existed. Why are you...so...emotional about it?" Error inquired, slightly frustrated from not understanding. How could these people mean so much to Blue? They were worthless.

Blueberry just sighed. "They're my friends. And family. Just like you are. I don't care what they are. And...if they aren't supposed to exist... Then I guess...neither am I..."

Error felt a pang of sadness, immediately regretting his words. "Don't say that, Blue. You aren't like them! You're...you're..."

"I don't belong here, Error. I...I really do like hanging out with you. And we're still friends. But...I want to go home. I can't just stay here with you forever." Blueberry explained. He looked away in shame. "I'm sorry..."

Error's sadness was quickly replaced with rage. "So... So what!? You're just gonna leave me alone!? Where did you get this idea? Have you been conspiring with Fresh or something!? I bet you two planned this behind my back... Didn't you!?" He accused angrily, glitching.

Blueberry whimpered a bit, hiding his face in his hands. "I'm sorry. I like being friends with you, really. But...I don't think I can take much more of this place. The awful silence, the voices... It's too much, Error. And...whenever you leave and Fresh isn't here, the voices get worse. A-and I don't know if they're real or not! Error, I think I might be going crazy!" He said, looked scared and panicked. Tears were filling up his eyesockets and glitches of his own surrounded him as he sobbed. "What's h-happening to me?"

Error stepped back, his eyes wide in shock when he saw the glitches and errors surrounding Blue's form. Of course... He had taken Blueberry from his universe, torn him away from the coding he belonged to, and shoved him into the anti-void. No wonder this was happening. It was inevitable. And if he kept Blueberry here, it wouldn't be long before...

Error knew what he had to do. That didn't mean he liked it, though.

Blueberry looked up in shock as he heard the sound of a portal opening. Error was standing a few feet away, a familiar landscape shown in the portal behind him and his expression sorrowful. "You're right, Bluberry. You...you should go. You aren't happy here. A real friend wouldn't lock you up like this. A real friend wouldn't make you this miserable." Error told him, not meeting his eyes. The black skeleton reached into his pocket and pulled out a glowing red heart, holding it out towards Blueberry. The human soul... "Take this. Reset your universe. It may take a while for Papyrus to come back, but Core!Frisk will let him go when things are safe. You've been here for a while though, so your coding isn't...exactly right. You might remember things through resets, maybe even more than Papyrus does, but don't let it get to you. Just...be happy. Alright?"

Blue stared at him with wide eyes, the glitches around him dying down, before he grinned and ran over, hugging Error tightly. Error let out a yelp of surprise, but didn't push him away. "Thank you, Error!! I'm so happy for you! I knew, deep down, that you were a good person. The Magnificent Sans never gave up hope! Mweheheheh!"

Error blushed a bit, awkwardly hugging him back. "It's nothing, really." He said.

Blue pulled away, his eyes sparkling like the stars of Outertale as he looked up at Error. "You'll visit, right? I can introduce you to Alphys! And I'm sure that you and Paps will get along once he finds out how nice you can be."

Error smiled awkwardly. "I uh...don't know about that. But yeah, I'll uh...I'll visit if you really want me to. And if you ever need anything, I'll be there."

"Of course! Although I am sure that I can take care of myself. After all, I am a future royal guardsman!" Blue told him.

Error couldn't help but smile. He had never seen Blue this happy before. "I guess I'll see ya then."

Blue smiled and nodded, waving goodbye as he skipped through the portal happily. "Bye, Error! I shall see you soon!"

Error waved back, smiling sadly before he closed the portal behind Blue. As soon as the portal was gone, he was immediately overwhelmed by the complete silence of the anti-void. Even when Blue was asleep, you could hear quiet snores or soft breathing. But...there was nothing now. It was quiet. Empty. Lonely. Error sighed, turning away and putting his hands in his pockets. He knew it was the right decision, but...he couldn't help but wonder-

"Hey, bro." A familiar voice came from behind him, causing Error to stiffen. He turned around slowly to see Fresh grinning at him. "So, you all up and let the bodacious blueberry go, huh? I'm proud of you. But do you really think that'll make up for what you did to him? You killed all his friends. You almost made him kill his own brother. That's wicked uncool. Do you really think he'll ever forgive you for that? He won't. In fact, I bet he just couldn't wait to get free from this place... Away from you."
