Chapter 26

Trap

Minho brought Sulli to LUCEAT where everyone is working hard.

“Sir Minho…you are with Miss Sulli.” Said the Editor-in-chief

Sir…Minho?

“The chairman is also here.” said the editor in chief.

“Oh..you’re together. That’s good. I was planning to introduce you to each other.” Said the chairman

Umm…why?

“Sulli…I think you know Minho since I heard you worked together in Seoul’s Hub…I also recall you being batchmates in highschool.”s aid the chairman

“Ummm Yes.” Said Sulli confused

“Minho has been the adviser of LUCEAT for a  year now.” Said the chairman “He was the one who told me that he needs another adviser to push LUCEAT to excel again…and he recommended you.” Said the Chairman

Sulli is surprised upon hearing this.

“You…did?” asked Sulli

“7 years…was a very long time…my heart can only suffer too much pain from waiting…so I wanted to slowly take action.” Said Minho

That got everyone in the room stop what they are doing.

Sulli felt embarrassed…heat crawling up her cheek.

“You don’t mean…” the chairman is oblivious

“We were high school sweethearts.” Said Minho smiling widely

Sulli hid her eyes under her hand.

Everyone started talking among themselves.

“You broke  a lot of my female student’s hearts Minho.” said the Chairman

“Oh that’s fine chairman…my heart was broken for 7 years…But it was still healed by the same women who broke it.” Said Minho

“You make it sound like I was the one who pushed you away.” Said Sulli

Minho chuckled

Sulli…has finally accepted his heart.

Sulli had to clear things up with Chansung. She readied herself for a difficult conversation…but it turns out that Chasung…was ready for it.

“I saw that coming…When you gave me chance…I was really happy…But then…I guess I could not go against a love that’s been going on for 7 years.” Said Chansung

“I’m really sorry..for confusing you.” Said Sulli “I…just realized what I really want recently…”

Chansung looked up.

“I asked my Dad to reassign me somewhere else.” Said Chansung

“No…I already resigned…you don’t need to leave.” Said Sulli

“It’s not just about you rejecting me Sulli…I want to stop the management thing and go back to hardcore journalism…I want to go back as a journalist…your energy at work…inspired me.” Said Chansung

Sulli took a  deep breath

“If you really want that…then I guess…that’s fine….Ae you sure?” asked Sulli
