This chapter features different POV from different characters.

Clare's POV:

They're here and the first one I saw was Wayne. He still looked the same, wearing a tank top and his brown shorts. I went to him and gave him a hug.

"Wayne you're here!" I greeted him

"Yeah, I managed to squeeze all my schedules so that I can spend more time with you all." he told me as he embraced me again.

Sydney waved at me and gave me a warm hug. She looks beautiful wearing a loose red shirt and blue jeans, but I can't deny the fake smile she expresses today. Maybe she's going through something.

And the last but not the least person I want to meet today, the sick bitch herself, Kate.

I did not give her a warm welcome, like who wants to hug a trash can. Only Quil and Max greeted her.

I hope this hoe doesn't do anything crazy today, because if she do, I will shave that blonde weave she got.

Quil's POV

I can see through Clare's eyes the anger she still has in Kate, and I hope these two get along. As everybody was busy talking, especially Max, I saw Sydney was sitting on the stairs away from us, feeling out of place. She kept looking at her phone, like something is going on. So I went to comfort her.

"Why so lonely?"

She looked at me and gave me a weak smile. I sat besides her. I held her hand and examine her eyes. She was avoiding my eye contact and that's how I know something's going wrong.

"Is Everything OK?" I asked her.

"Everything is just peachy."

"NO, it's not. I know something is wrong, we've been hanging around for almost a year, and I know that look when you feel anxious."

"Guess you're right."

"Well then, tell me your problem, maybe I can help you."

"Not in here. I feel uncomfortable, like someone is listening to us."

"Well I know a place, but promise after this, you need to let it go and enjoy your life without negativity especially today. OK? "

" OK?"

"Let's go."

Wayne's POV:

"OK guys, can I have your attention?"
I said while holding a can of beer. I climbed to the table and dragged the cloth besides me. "Before we start, I just want to say that friendship is indeed a precious thing." I wave the piece of cloth in the air that was supposed to be Quil's boxers and they all burst into laughter.

"Wayne just start the movie." Clare chuckled.

"Let's start"

I pressed play and jumped on the sofa. I looked around and everyone was so chill, drinking and eating popcorn. Max sat next to Kate, while Clare was lying on the carpet with her soda and chocolate brownies. I then grabbed the bowl of popcorn in front of me and positioned myself.
