Silent Hell

Welcome to Silent HIll

I wouldn't say I'm a delinquent. I'm not the best person, but I'm not evil.My name is Alex, I'm 18 years old. It is the first day of summer and the first day of my adult life. Me and my friends Alyssa, Cam, and Eric. We are visiting my grandparents in Maine in a small mining town called Silent Hill.

"Do you even know where we are going dude?" Eric exclaimed from the back of my Jeep Cherokee.

"Yes I know where I'm going, I have a tremendous sense of direction." I responded.

" Let's just assume he knows where he is going." Alyssa retorted from the passenger's seat.

" Thank you."

"Dude, the fog is starting to get thick." Cam said running his finger through the condensation on the window.

"Yeah you should pull over at the next motel or rest stop." Alyssa said squinting to see further. The drive dragged on until we came across a rather nice looking motel. I pulled into a spot and we all got out of the car and began stretching our legs. When we got out, it hit all of us at once, it was fucking cold as hell outside.

"Jesus Christ. Why is it so cold." Alyssa said through her chattering teeth.

"I don't know, it is the end of May! How is this possible." Cam said in confusion. We all agreed to go inside before frostbite took our limbs. We all walked into the building. To my surprise, the fog continued in the building giving it a melancholy look. I walked up to the desk and rang the bell and waited. I rang the bell a minute later and waited. I rang the bell multiple times until a young blonde receptionist walked out of the door.

"Hello, welcome to the Toluca Lake Motel, how may I help you?" she said in an overly cheery voice.

"Uhh, hi, We need a room, and I guess while we are here, how far away is Silent Hill?" I asked.

"Hold on a moment while I get you your key. Welcome to Silent Hill" she said with chuckle and handed us our key. We had room twenty-two. We walked to our room in silence trying to not freeze to death as we walked to the room. When we arrived, I noticed something stuck in the door, a map, of part of Silent Hill. There was a red X marked where we were on the east highway of Southvale Silent Hill. I grabbed the map and folded it and put it in my back pocket.

The lock clicked as I opened the door. We all stepped into the room. It had two beds, a bathroom and a T.V. on a shelf with four drawers for storing clothes. After driving for about two days, I instantly got in the shower. As the hot water splashed against my skin, I closed my eyes. As my eyelids fell, horrific images of monsters and my friends began to fill my head. My eyes shot open as I panicked and slipped hitting my head on the side of the tub. I heard a noise, a sort of wailing as my vision went dark.

I opened my eyes as cold sweat ran down my forehead. I looked around the room. Everything seemed normal. My friends were asleep in their beds and I sat in the bed next to Alyssa with my underwear on and a bandage around my head. As I was blacked out, I was seeing more of the images like before but in shorter bursts. I didn't sleep that night.

I sat in the chair holding a lead pipe that I found out by the room door that night. I was paranoid, like, someone was in the room waiting to strike. The entire night I heard strange noises outside the room and on the roof.

"Dude, did you sleep at all last night?" Eric said sitting up with a yawn.

"No." I responded with coldly.

"Why do you have that pipe?" he said standing up and stretching.

"I was hearing things." I said in a monotone voice.

"Well... okay." he said sounding concerned. "We are staying in the Jack's Inn further in town tomorrow and for the rest of the trip." he said putting on his clothes.

"Ok."

"You Ok to drive?"

"Yeah, I'm just paranoid."

"Okay man."

A few hours have passed. I was driving down Nathan ave. when I heard a noise, faint at first, but growing louder, a siren. I began to panic as it got louder and then something happened. The car suddenly jolted violently as we made it into town, I pulled over as the engine stalled. I tried to start the car again, and again, and again, eventually the car stopped making a noise .

"Fuck. Seriously." I said banging my hands against the wheel. I pulled out my map from the previous day and examined it. There was a mechanic in town. I opened the door and grabbed my backpack and pipe. "You fellas ready to walk into town?" I asked.

"Seriously?" Cam asked obviously annoyed with the situation.

"Seriously, there is a mechanic in town that can fix the car." I said.

"After this much driving, some exercise would be good." Alyssa said jokingly. Everybody finally got out and began to walk. I began to walk in front of the group as we entered town. Then I heard it, the siren, we all heard it. The ground began to shake as the noise became unbearable. My eyesight began to dim as the world around us seemed to get darker. Welcome to Silent Hill.

Holy shit am I excited to be writing this. Silent Hill is my favorite game series of all time. Fun Fact, Silent Hill was the first rated M game I ever played. But anywho, There will be all original monsters and plots in this. Stay tuned!
