Rock bottom

Silence pervaded through the base as every bot became quiet. I waited patiently for someone to speak yet no one did. Casting my gaze over them left me without a doubt that this information had stun them. I looked over at Sarah and Kay. They wore smiles but even in their eyes, I knew they thought I made a mistake.
Propugnus clicked quietly into my audio. He seemed as nervous as I was and reflected it just the same. I shifted at the silence feeling a bit awkward under the stares.
"Someone please talk I feel really uncomfortable right now." I nearly begged. Still nothing. "Nothing alrighty then. I'm going to take I nap." I shifted back into my human form on the platform. I walked to the couch and face plated into it. Propugnus shifted back into his eagle form before landing on my head.
Still hearing nothing I looked up to see the entire room was warped. "What in the pit?"
Anima appeared next to me while I sat up. "Language. Anyway, like the scenario? Helps make my guardians, mainly my praetors, think about things very carefully. In reality June did piece it together but you have yet to confirm it."
"So this helps with choosing the best answer?" I question.
Anima nodded. "It is."
"So what am I going to say?" I sighed.
"Simple. Nothing at all." Anima smiled.
" What now?" I looked at her like she had gone crazy.
"I turned back time just a few seconds. Now June won't confront you about it since I also erased it from her mind."
I arched an eyebrow. "I thought you said your power was fading?"
"I'm not completely dead you know. One day my daughter will rise and I will become one with her. But there is a problem," Anima breathed. "Regina will sense this. If she finds out about my daughter, nothing will be safe."
"Wait if you have a daughter, where is she exactly?" I asked curiously.
"That's difficult. You see she's still growing and is always changing which dimension she is in for a very long time. When or if she comes she will assist you in finding my powers." Anima stated.
I nodded and Anima clapped her servos together and I was standing inside the base,  Optimus was in front of me, as Starshooter. "Starshooter are you alright?"
"Huh, what now?" I asked as I shook my helm.
"Star you froze. Like you didn't want to believe that Maria was missing." Arcee came up.
"I'm fine, really." I insisted.
"Starshooter," Optimus made me look into his optics. "What is scaring you?"
I thought back to the fight with Quicksilver and shudder. "You all know how I wouldn't wish harm upon anyone, right?" Everyone in the base nodded and now Sarah and Kay looked at me with concern. "Remember the day we met Optimus? When I was heading home with Alpha?" My voice become quiet. Sarah and Kay exchanged a look knowing what I was implying to. Optimus nodded as well, so did Arcee and Ratchet. "If there was one thing I had hoped had happened to him when the war started was that he would die. I was just proven wrong today when he showed up." I felt my optics water out of fear. Propugnus cooed and tried to calm me. "He allied with Regina and tried to take me again."
Those last few words seemed to spark something in Optimus for his optics flashed in anger before cooling and he pulled me into a hug to calm me down. The other autobots or humans didn't say anything knowing that we were together and Optimus was trying to ensure I didn't become an emotional wreck.
"Wait whose Alpha? And why would he try to take you?" Miko asked confused and worried at the same time.
Optimus and I pulled away as Arcee made the motion for her to drop the subject. I smiled and looked at Miko. "Alpha Trion, Miko. And he didn't try to take me. Another mech, by the name of Quicksilver, tried. Alpha Trion took me in as family." Miko made an oh expression and nodded. I looked over at Optimus. "I sent Propugnus earlier with Maria to my base when she was got scratched by Quicksilver. He returned to assist in getting the gauntlet but Maria is safe."
"Propugnus? That's the name of Maria's eagle." Arcee looked at me.
I nearly facepalmed at my stupidity. "Propugnus can shift his form. I have him watching over Maria and that's how I found out about you needing help." Propugnus did shift his form and glided down to rest on the railing. "If you could can you guys bridge me to where I need to be picked up. It's a pretty long drive."
Ratchet nodded and I supplied him with the coordinates. Optimus grabbed my servo and I looked up at him. He pulled me away from the main room and into the hall. "Starshooter, when are you going to stop lying to me?" I looked up at him in shock.
"Eh what? Come again?"
"Star, I can see it in your optics that you hiding something. It also seems that your afraid that if I find out it'll change everything between us. What are you hiding from me that you're afraid of?" Optimus grabbed my upper arms gently.
"Umm," I tried to think of a way to put it without revealing too much. "Optimus, I'll tell you it when the spheres a line." I said.
Optimus released my arms, "Starshooter, just know that whatever you're hiding won't make me see you any different. You'll always be the femme I fell in love with way back before the war."
I smiled and hugged him. "I just can't say it right now. I've been ordered not to. But I'm not going to follow this order when the spheres a line, Optimus. Then I will tell you everything."
I reached up and kissed him. He returned it before releasing me and we headed back into the main room. Ratchet opened the bridge upon seeing me and I headed through with Arcee, Bee, and Optimus. I activated the ground bridge from Cybertronics and turned back to them. "Wait here I'll send Maria through." I walked through and shrunk into my human form and walked out of the bridge back to the Autobots. Though right before, I cut my arm deeply and bandage it.
I smiled up at the bots here and Optimus lifted me onto his shoulder. The four of us returned to base and Nurse Darby instantly checked the cut and rewrapped it. She said it take a few days to heal. I walked over to Kay and Sarah and motioned them to follow me into the hall so no one would over hear.
"Hey Maria, what's wrong?" Kay asked.
"When Unicron awakens we are no longer going to hide from everyone about our powers." I said lowly.
"Maria this is serious. If you tell them..." I cut Sarah off.
"I'm done lying though. June nearly pieced it together but thanks to Anima we have more time. Right now we continue what we're doing but when Unicron rises this act ends." I was being dead serious.
Both nodded while Sarah smiled. "You're becoming a fine young Prime, Maria."
I smiled back. "I learned from the best." Implying to my whole family.
