Maybe we're just having too much fun

"Are you bored already?" Jaime asked with a laugh while she nodded. "Geez kid." He said with a head shake. "We'll stop for food soon, after that you're gonna be stuck on here for a quite a while, so you better get used to it." He said as she threw herself into a laying down position and groaned. She was a little teenager already. "Oh I know, it's just so hard." Jaime said sarcastically.

She just nodded her little red head. "It is daddy. It is quite hard." How she ended up with such a great vocabulary so young was a mystery to me. I couldn't help but start laughing at the cocky faces they were giving each other. God I loved my family.

"Come here." I said, scooting into Jaime so Kota could come lay by the window. She crawled over top of me and laid on her tummy so she had a perfect view, her legs laid across my ribs. "Now watch outside and count how many yellow things you see. When we stop for dinner I want an exact number." I said as she nodded again and went into full focus to find anything yellow. Jaime was giving me an amused look. "What? It keeps her occupied on car rides." I said with a shrug.

He just chuckled and rolled onto his side, laying an arm across my stomach and burying his face in my curly hair before falling asleep. I knew he was asleep because he started snoring. So now I was pinned, by her legs and his arm. What a long ride it would be.

To my surprise she never fell asleep on the way, she stayed by the window for an hour and a half, counting every yellow car, tree, and sign that went by. Impressing everyone by telling me there had been forty three yellow things. No one thought she could count that high. I had done good with my kid.

We had ended up going to Applebee's, which for our bunch was a nice restaurant. We usually just went to Hardee's, or whatever little Mexican places we could find. All was going great until Tony said something that clearly irritated Mike, causing him to catapult his guacamole out of his spoon and onto Tony's chest.

"Oh boy..." Vic said from across the table, next to Tony. Oh boy was right. Tony, of course, retaliated, and missed. Hitting Casey with his ketchup covered french fry, causing Casey to throw a piece of lettuce, that had had some sort of weird brown dressing on it, at him, hitting Jaime instead of his target.

"I can't believe you got us kicked out." I said to Tony, as we all trudged back to the bus, covered in food, even Kota. She had happily gotten involved after Vic threw something at Jaime and hit us instead.

"Me?! Mike started it!" Tony protested.

"Well maybe if you actually had some aim!" Mike defended himself from behind me Tony and Jaime. Vic was too sidetracked with getting mac and cheese out of his hair to get involved.

"Casey missed too!" Tony said crossing his arms. Casey was too caught up in conversation with Kota, apparently about Apple's with bumble bee's inside...this is what she got from the name of the restaurant, to defend himself.

"Either way, I'm hungry. We had just started eating when you started this Tony." Jaime said, shooting Mike a wink while Tony threw his arms up in the air. I was laughing to hard to say anything. "So now we're going to have to go to another restaurant to eat." Jaime finished as we got on the bus.

"I call first shower!" Vic said, running off towards the bathroom. I succeeded in flipping him off before he slammed the door in my face.

"Well we passed a Mexican place, let's just go there once we're all clean." Mike said walking off to the sink to get the food off of him. I sent Kota that way too, the least he could do is get the food out of her hair, since technically he did start it all.

"Never a dull moment with you boys." I said to Jaime while he laughed. Finally, after forcing Vic out of the shower, we all got clean enough to go try this dinner thing again. Maybe this time we'd make it through the meal.

Jaime's POV~

It was about three in the morning, Al and Kota, who had ended up in our bunk about an hour ago, were both out cold. I on the other hand could not fall asleep. After reaching around for whichever phone I could get a hold of, maybe next time we shouldn't just throw them to the foot of the bed, I lit up my way enough to head out to the kitchen. We had eaten an early dinner after all.

Setting the phone down on the counter I realized there was a text, I also realized it wasn't my phone. I would have just ignored it, but the name caught my eye, Kyle. Why was he still texting Allie? She told me he had stopped.

I tried opening it, but I forgot she had a lock code. After trying tons of random combinations, and being locked out for a certain amount of minutes multiple times, I got in. 5682. Kota. Why hadn't I tried that first? I scrolled through all the messages from Kyle, glancing at all the dates. It hadn't stopped. It had just gotten worse. The past two weeks it looked like it was every other day. I was glad to see that she hadn't said anything back to him, but I was still pretty annoyed that she lied to me, telling me he had left her alone, when clearly, that wasn't the case. It was time to take matters into my own hands.

Listen here, Kyle, I'm getting real tired off this. I'm only going to say this once, leave Allie alone. If I find out you're bothering her again, I'm not going to be happy. This is your only warning. Back off.

I sent the message and locked the phone again. I wasn't hungry anymore, but I was too annoyed to sleep. So I walked off to the lounge and played video games until who knows when. All I know is I was woken up that morning by a grumpy Kota. It was gonna take her some time to get used to the touring life style.

"Why'd you leave?" Allie asked with a yawn as I walked into the kitchen area where she was making cereal and coffee.

"Couldn't sleep." I said sliding her phone towards her. "Why didn't you tell me he was still bothering you?" I asked as she took it with a sigh, unlocking it and reading the message I had sent him. He had yet to write back. Maybe it had worked, I doubted it with this guy, but maybe.

"I didn't want to stress you. I'm sorry." She said rubbing her face, something she always did when she was stressed out. I shook my head and walked over to the table where Kota was already sitting. Giving Vic a dirty look while he took pictures of her.

"Why so moody shorty?" I asked her as I took a drink of the coffee Allie had handed me. She gave me the same dirty look she had been giving Vic and started eating her cereal. "Well someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed." I said as Mike walked by and poked her. She cracked a little smile. Mike was definetly her best friend.

"Are you mad at me?" Allie asked while we got changed in the bathroom a few hours later. We hadn't said much to each other since this morning. "I really had thought he had stopped when I told you that, but then it just got worse, and with the tour and everything I didn't think you needed the stress." She said while pulling on an oversized tank top of mine.

"You don't need the stress though. It's bad for you. I would have handled it and everything would have been fine." I said as she sighed and leaned against the wall. "I'm not mad at you, just tell me the next time something like this happens, okay? Don't leave me in the dark." She nodded as I hugged her.

"I love you." She murmured while I opened the door. We had to start getting ready for the show tonight.

"I love you too." I said as I kissed her cheek before walking out into the bus. I really hoped that dick would leave her alone this time. She was mine now, he needed to get over that. She had always been mine.
