Allie's POV~

A few days have passed, I'm still talking to Vic. Things feel like they used to, with Vic that is. Nothing else is the same. "Come to bed would ya? You're making too much noise." Kyle said from the hallway before stomping back off to our bedroom. I crinkled my nose at the idea of going to bed. I was much happier doing the dishes. "Allie!" I heard him yell. I sighed, if I didn't respond he'd keep yelling, which would then wake up Kota.

"I'll be there in a minute!" I said as quiet as I could without him not being able to hear me. I drained the sink and went to the bedroom to change, pulling on a pair of sweat pants and a sweater. I liked sleeping on my couch. Not in here, not with him. Some nights I had no choice really, like tonight.

I climbed in next to him with a sigh and laid as close to the edge and as far away as possible from him, falling asleep as I felt him pull me closer. Ugh.

**Flashback five years**

I dodged the flying taco meat that had been thrown at my head and chucked back some tortia chips at the culprit.
"Ow I'm blind!" He yelled as it him above the eye.

"That didn't hit your eye quit being a baby." I said in between fits of laughter. He had lettuce in his spiky hair and taco sauce on his face. Our relaxing dinner had turned into an all out food fight. Being with Jaime I was used to this kind of thing.

"But Allieeeee." He said in his whiny voice. I was busy trying to pull some shredded cheese out of my own hair.

"But Jaimeeeeee." I whined back, matching his tone. He made a pouty face while I giggled at him. "Aw, come here teddy bear." I said walking over to him and wrapping my arms around his neck. He picked me up while I pecked him on the lips. "You taste like a taco threw up on you." I said laughing.

"One did!" He said laughing with me. "Come on, we have to get up early." He toted me up the stairs while I picked the lettuce out of his hair and dropped it on the steps as we went. We needed to clean anyway.

"That won't stop us." I said yawning. "We'll stay up late anyway." I nodded while laying my head on his chest. I felt him chuckle beneath me.

"Yeah, sure." He said setting me in the bed and walking over to the towel hanging over our closet door. I was in a long shirt so I just pulled off my jean shorts and climbed under the covers, Jaime following me after he wiped the sauce off of his face. I fell asleep soon after his strong arms wrapped gently around my waist. We were going to have to wake up bright and early to clean and get the house ready for the stupid Fourth of July cookout we were hosting. I didn't want to host the thing, it was Vic's turn. Naturally he got out of it.

I rubbed my eyes and narrowed them at the curtains letting all kinds of light shine through the window facing our bed. Weren't curtains supposed to make the room darker? "Ughhhhh." I groaned getting up and realizing Jaime wasn't in bed. Jaime, up early, all on his own? This had to be a first.

I walked down the stairs and saw him vacuuming the living room. We had this magic silent vacuum cleaner so I never heard it. "Morning princess." Jaime said yawning. I yawned with him and gave a slight wave before heading to the kitchen to do dishes and what not. It was still a mess from our taco fight the night before.

"Are you cooking or is Casey?" I asked with another yawn a few hours later. I wish I had time for a nap. The house looked spotless though, so that was nice...although I knew it wouldn't last very long, once the boys got here. Boys make messes, that's just how they are.

"Meeee." He replied yawning with me. "I'm gonna head outside." He said, pulling on my hair while walking past me to the sliding glass door. I made a pouty face as he winked at me. Ah what a lovely boyfriend I have.
