CHAPTER SIX: HER UNEXPECTED KISS
“Get in the car, Mish.” He ordered to me.
“Yes, master.” I said while rolling eyes at him.
Tumingin siya sakin ng masama.
I sat at the passenger seat.
“Mish, please mag-seatbelt ka.” He said to me.
Sa buong buhay ko, hindi ako nagsi-seatbelt kasi parang nasasakal ako.
“No, ayoko.” I said.
He started the engine at nagpatakbo ng mabilis.
“Shit, Echo! SLOW DOWN! Are you trying to kill us?” I shouted to him.
Sa sobrang lakas ng sigaw ko napa-preno siya.
Muntik nang humampas yung ulo ko sa bintana.
“I told you to buckle that up! Muntik ka nang mauntog! Hindi ka kasi nakikinig sakin!” He shouted to me.
“Bakit ka kasi nagpatakbo ng mabilis?!” I shouted back to him.
Hinampas lang niya yung steering wheel.
I heard him sighed.
“Please, Misha. Put that seatbelt on.” He said while looking straight to my eyes.
I put the seatbelt on.
He started again the engine and headed to our destination.

“I can’t believe you bring me here in Laguna, Echo! This is so wonderful!” I exclaimed.
He opened the door and we get in.
Ang ganda talaga ng ancestral house nila.
“Wait, did mom and dad? You know--. Alam ba nilang nandito tayo?” I asked him.
“Pinagpaalam kita and guess what? They agreed. And our things are in the compartment.” He said while grinning.
Tumingin ako sa kanya. Napakunot ang noo ko.
Did he planned this?
“Yes, I planned this.” He answered my unspoken question.
He read my mind? Is he Edward Cullen or something?
“Nope, I’m not Edward Cullen.” He answered again while smiling.
I threw my shoe on him.
“Ewan ko sayo! Ugh!” I shouted.
He laughed. Iniwan ko siya doon. Bahala siya tawa siya ng tawa.
GRRR! Bwiseeet!

Nana Agot, the housekeeper, is very hospitable.
Si Tata Julio naman, asawa ni Nana Agot, palatawa siya. They’re very kind to us. Kaya pala mahal na mahal nila si Echo, kahit daw pilyo. HMP!
Dinalhan ako ni Echo ng dinner dito sa room ko dahil nakatulog ako dito kanina.
“Mish, kain na.” He said while smiling.
“Thanks for bringing the foods, love.” I winked at him.
“Kumain ka nalang ngaa. Puro ka kalokohan ee.” He said.
Humiga siya sa bed ko and started singing ‘Take A Chance’

I smiled at that thought.
My heart started to beat triple times.
“Kumain ka na ba?” I asked him.
Umupo siya at humarap sakin.
“Yep, kanina nakatulog ka. Gigisingin sana kita. But I found you sleeping peacefully in this bed.” He said habang hinahampas yung kama.
I laughed on him.
I accidentally laid my eyes on his face.
He’s having great eyes.
His nose is pointed.
May mga sinasabi siya pero hindi ko iniintindi.
“Tulog ka ng tulog ee. Bubuhusan na nga sana kita ng malamig na tub—“
I stopped him by kissing him.
It’s a 5 second kiss.
We parted.
I’m still looking down. Ayokong tumingin sa kanya!
Why did I do that? Stupid me!
I’m so stupid!
STUPID!
I wanted to see his reaction so I looked at him.
Ngumiti siya ng nakakaloko.
“So you’re in love me?” He asked me.
I blushed.
Am I in love with Echo?
Am I in love with my best friend?
