"Baby, Go To Your Room" I Heard Bey's Country Accent

My Eyes Fluttered Opened And I Looked Up To See Her Rubbing Her Eyes.

"I'm Waiting On My Moms , If She's Not Home Within A Few Hours I'm Calling The Police" I Said

"I'll Wait With You" She Said Laying On Top Of Me Resting Her Head On My Chest , But She Wasn't Watching The Door Because Seconds Later I Heard Light Snores. I Wrapped My Arms Around Her Body Kissing Her Head.

I Heard The Door Close And My Eyes Shot Opened , I Looked Over To See My Mom Closing The Door.

"Mom Where You Been?" I Asked

She Looked Over At Me Not Expecting Me To Be Sitting On Her Couch Waiting On Her.

"Handled My Business" She Said Walking Upstairs

I Didn't Want To Wake Bey , So I Slowly Lifted Her Up And Got Off The Couch Grabbing A Blanket Putting It Over Her Body. I Ran Upstairs Following My Mom Into Her Room.

"What Business Was That?" I Asked Closing The Door Behind Me

She Began Taking Off Her Shoes "Corey I'm A Grown Woman I Don't Hav-"

"Mom I've Been Up Waiting On You , I Was Worried...I Thought He Did Something To You Or Took You" I Said

She Let Out A Sigh And Turned To Me "I'm Sorry You Was Worried But That Man Took My Daughters Innocence...He Took Her Childhood Her...Virginity He Had To Go No Questions Asked" She Said

"What Did You Do?" I Asked

"Killed Him... I Haven't Killed Someone In A Long Time"

"What? Mom-"

"I Know How To Get Rid Of A Body And Not Get Caught Jay , I've Been Doing It Before You Were Even Thought Of" My Mama Said

"Oh Shit, Ma-"

"Police Won't Catch Me , Jay Just Forget About It Okay ?" She Said , I Looked Into Her Eyes And Realized She Was Tired And Didn't Want To Fight.

I Nodded My Head And Slowly Left The Room Closing The Door Behind Her.

I Heard A Light Knock On The Door And Slowly Got Out Of Bed. I Haven't Slept This Good In Years And I'm In A Better Mood Than I've Been Since We've Been On This Trip.

I Got Out Of Bed And Opened The Door To See My Mother Standing There. I Couldn't Really Read Her Face But She Did Look Kind Of Confused.

She Walked Past Me And Sat On My Bed Tapping On The Side Of Her Motioning For Me To Sit Next To Her So I Closed The Door And Did As So.

I Looked Down At My Feet, I Was Too Embarrassed To Look Into My Mom's Eyes. She Hated Me Before But Now Hate Is On Another Level. Probably Thinks I'm A Hoe Or Slut For Sleeping With Her Man Even Though I Didn't Want To Do It.

"Regina...Why Didn't You Tell Me You Were Hurting? Why Didn't You Come To Me And Tell Me He Was Touching You? ...Why Couldn't I See It? Or Notice That This Was Going On Right In Front Of My Damn Face! He's Been Messing With You For Years! Years ! And I Didn't Even See It!" She Yelled As Tears Began Rubbed Down Her Face

"I'm Sorry Ma , I Didn't Want To Do It...He Told Me Not To Tell-"

"That's Why He Always Bought You Whatever You Wanted Even If You Didn't Ask...I Just Thought He Was Trying To Earn Your Trust Since You Didn't Really Like Him And Now I Know Why You Don't" My Mama Cried

I Began To Cry "It Was Killing Me Inside That I Couldn't Tell Anybod-"

"That's Why You Ran Away?...Why You Ran To Drugs It Was Your Only Comfort" She Said Softly

My Mom Was Reading Me To Filth But It Was The Truth, I Didn't Realize Until Now. I Ran Away Because I Was Running Away From My Problems Not My Family , I Didn't Have No One To Turn To Except A Few People I Met On The Streets And Once I Got My Life Together That's When I Had Met Brian And Came Back Home To Visit My Family More Often But When Brian Broke Up With Me And I Got Pregnant, I Turned To Drugs And Got Bad All Over Again.

"My Poor Child...Regina I Know Sorry Isn't Going To Take Back What Happened To You But What I Will Say Is , Don't Ever Be Afraid To Tell Me Anything...I Love You And Don't You Ever Forget It. I Want Us As Mother And Daughter To Grow From This Okay? I Want Koi To Grow Up Knowing Her Mother And Grandmother Love Each Other Like We Love Her " My Mom Said Looking Into My Eyes

I Nodded My Head As I Felt A Headache Coming Along Due To All This Crying I'm Doing.

"I Love You Mom, And I'm Truly Sorry For The Pain That I Have Caused You" I Said

"That Pain Was Because Of That Sick Man! I You Don't Have To Worry About Him Anymore, I Handled It"

I Nodded My Head And Hugged Her Tightly Tears Streaming Down My Face Onto Her Shirt.

"I Love You" She Said Softly Rubbing My Back
