Chapter 16

Chapter 16| Girl Talk

     Everything went well. It's Wednesday now and we're in the living room to do our Research. Well apparently, our teacher assigned us to make our own study and grouped us into three.

     I'm with Krystal, and well... Sehun. Our teacher knew that we live in the same house so she said it would be easy if we're on a team. Chanyeol and the others were also grouped. They were all boys so I guess they planned on their room.

     "Do you have any idea guys? What should be our study?"  "Fertilizer." Sehun said and we turned to him. "It would be easier if we'll just make a fertilizer. We'll conduct and test it first then after that, we could do our Research paper." He is surprisingly smart.

     "Oh. Okay. What kind of fertilizer then?" Krystal asked. "It would be better if it's organic so we would spend less." I told her.

     "Okay." She nodded. "Now for the materials." She said. "We need to pick our main ingredient first." She listed down some alternative plants that would make a good fertilizer.

     "Banana peelings?" She asked us. "That's good. We could just chop it into smaller pieces then decompose it but it would take a long time. How about we would just stick into leaves then sun-dry it so we could test it as soon as possible?" I asked.

     "Well that's less work. Okay then." Krystal said then she looked at Sehun who was busy fiddling with his laptop. Fortunately, he was searching and gave us a particular name of leaves.

     "Okay. We're settled. Let's gather the materials tomorrow." Krystal said.

     With that, we went into our rooms. On our way, I saw Chanyeol. "Hey Sulli. How's your group project?" He asked.

     "Good. We finally picked a good study." I said and he pouted. "Aw. We haven't yet." He said. I chuckled at how cute he acts. "It's alright. You'll pick a good study soon." I patted his back.

     "Well what's your study all about?" He asked me. "It's secret Chanyeol. You might copy ours" Krystal butted in our conversation and teased him.

     "I would never!" Chanyeol said. "Whatever you say." Krystal said and just dragged me inside our room "Sorry.." I mouthed to Chanyeol.

"Sulli-ah~♡" Krystal sat on my bed. "Yes?" I closed the book I was reading and looked at her.

     "Don't you think Chanyeol has a crush on you?" She teasingly asked. The question took me by surprise. "Krystal.. what are you talking about?" I asked as if I did not hear what she said.

     "I mean.. you guys are really close and he always come to you so don't you think he has a 'thing' for you?" She said. "Yah. This again. Clear up your thoughts. I told you we're just friends." I said.

     "Ohh Friends~~." She said playfully. "You know those cliche stories or movies wherein the guy and girl were 'friends'--" She stopped, quoting the word.  "Then they develop feelings for each other but then they're too scared to admit it because they don't want to risk their friendship." She continuously said and breathed for a while. "Or they weren't aware of their feelings for each other not until the guy or girl is taken or away or whatsoever blah blah blah.." She said.

     "Wow. You sure know a lot about love stories." I praised her. I actually know why she's saying all those things but I wanted to change the topic and put in on her. "Why thank you, I read a lot of novels regarding those." She replied with a British kind of accent.

     "That's great." I said. "But don't change the topic unnie." She sternly said."Ehe." I scratched the back of my neck.

     "So?.." She started. So what now?

     There were knocks on the door all of a sudden. "I'll go see who it is." I said and rosed up from bed to escape from this interrogation.

     I opened the door and stared at the person. "Who is it Sulli-unnie?" I looked at Krystal who was wondering and back at Sehun.

     "I finished the background of study." He said and gave me the paper then turned back afterwards while I just watch him leave.

     "Yah unnie!" I turned to Krystal who was advancing towards me.

     "Good thing we're groupmates with Sehun." Krystal smirked as she saw the paper that he gave me.  "Well that was fast. He was able to make these infos in less than 30 minutes." I kind of complimented.

     "Don't wonder unnie~ Sehun is a smart guy." Krystal smiled and clapped her hands. I weirdly looked at her. "And cold." I added.

     "Ohh. I see another love pair here." She said and I furrowed my eyebrows. "What?" I asked her.

     "You seem interested with Sehun, unnie. Maybe his cold aura is really.. uhh. I forgot the term but it most likely catches the girls' hearts." She playfully winked at me.

     "Ey. Maybe you're the one who likes him?" I teased, though a part of me somewhat disagrees with my question. I just waved it off.

     "Of course not! My heart already belongs to--" I was quite shocked and she too so she covered her mouth to prevent herself from further revealing the guy who 'has her heart'.

     "Oh my dear dongsaeng, all this time you're teasing and linking me with the guys here but it's you who have a love life. Now I know why you know too much about it." I crossed my arms in front of her and smirked. Now's the time to finally tease her.

     "Geez unnie. People say if you don't have a crush then you're crazy and I have one so it's normal." She reasoned out. I shook my head. "It's true unnie! And it's impossible for people to not like a person!" She defensed.

     "Yeah yeah. Jung Soojung. It's just normal. " I sang and laughed "Seriously unnie!" She crossed her arms and puffed her cheeks. She's so cute. I can see her blushing haha.

     "Now you know what I feel whenever you ask me those kind of questions." I went over her and pinched her cheeks.

     "Awch..It hurtch.." She said while she tries to remove my hands. I finally removed them and she looked as red as tomato. She caressed her cheek and pouted. I realized I became more comfortable around her and I treat her as my real sister.

     "BUT remember unnie~ bad guys always get the good girls." She said like she was warning me.

     "Whatever you say Krystal. Those romance books really got you in your head." I said and finally lay down my bed.

     "I was just saying. You might not know." She said and I just sleepily nodded.

     Then I heard the door creaked.  "Did you hear that Krystal?" I asked. "What unnie?" She sat up from her sleeping position.

     "Nothing, nothing. Just sleep. Good night." I said and just didn't mind what I heard.
