Justin's P.O.V
"Melanie wait!" Ugh! Why doesn't she ever just stop and listen to me!? When I turned around to go back to my moms room, I saw Yovanna walking towards me.
"Justin just forget about her, give her time, I'm here just have fun with me."
"Yovanna you don't understand, I really really like Melanie and I want to be with her it's just been weird between us lately and I didn't know if she still wanted to come with me to the hospital, especially after what happened at the restaurant."
"I have never seen you care about a girl so much before."
"She's different, I don't know."
"If you really like her that much you should go after her, maybe she's still in the parking lot."
"But I have to check my mom out."
"Go find Melanie first, I'll tell Pattie what's happening and then I'll leave."
"You don't have to go."
"It's getting late."
"Ok. See you soon." Before I left she kissed me on the cheek. That was weird.
"Go Justin."
"Ok bye." I ran out the door and started searching the parking lot. I walked, and walked, and walked when I finally spotted Mel in her car crying her eyes out. I ran to her car and knocked on her window.
"Go away!" She yelled.
"No! Melanie we need to talk, I have to explain!"
"I don't want to here it!"
Ok that's it! I ran to the other side of her car and got into the seat next to her.
"Justin what are you doing!?"
"You weren't listening to me out there so I came in here. Anyway, I know things have been weird between us lately and I know you feel it too. After that kiss happened I stopped talking to you, I know that but let me tell you why."
"I'm listening."
"I became really busy, since I didn't go to work for so long, when I started again I had so much to do, and whenever you wanted to talk I was just too stressed out."
"But Justin that's what we could have talked about, I could have helped, and that's not an excuse to start ignoring me. If you're going to start being rude to me whenever you're busy and have work, then what's the point of us being together."
"I know now that that's not and excuse for how I acted."
"And what about Yovanna?" I heard Melanie say under her breath.
"Yovanna is just a close friend of mine."
"Ya, really close."
"Melanie, I've known Yovanna since I was a kid and we haven't seen each other in a long time and I just wanted to spend some time with her. You have nothing to worry about, you shouldn't be threatened by Yovanna or anyone else for that matter. You are mine."
"Really?"
"Really." I leaned in, cupped her cheek, and I slowly kissed her. It feels good feeling her lips on mine again. We stopped kissing and keeping my hand on her cheek I said "now lets go check my mom out."
"Ok."
