Glenns POV

I follow Caitlin out of the Decontamination room, as it is labeled on the sign beside the door. My heart pounds in my ears, all I want to do is get back to Maggie's bedside. We walk down a long white hallway, which quickly turns to a grey color.
Caitlin looks back, those stupid blue eyes staring deeply at me, her pale skin and red hair shining in the light, the freckles across her face. She was pretty, Glenn could admit, but hell, no where near the beauty Maggie was.
This woman seemed young, 17, 18 maybe. I follow along looking away, down at my feet and she asks "So what would you like to eat?" She turns glancing to me
"I don't care...something small...I need to get back to Maggie" I say looking down at my feet to avoid her stare
She turns around reluctantly with a sigh, and turns sharply into a room. I follow her in hesitantly and look around, it was a cafeteria, many people were in it, families. My eyes float around from One person to another.
Caitlin glances to me "into the line, get what you want, then have a seat at this table"
She points over to a table, it had many seats, I counted them out.
There was enough for everyone in our group, including Maggie.
Dammit.
I step into the line silently, slowly pushing past people trying to get to the front, quickly I grab a tray and put a apple and a water on it, stepping out.
I move to the table, taking a seat, around me was no one, until Caitlin sat down in front of me and put a cinnamon bun on my tray.
"These are complimentary and verified to be amazing by me" she giggles leaning against the chair, watching me with a wide smile
"Why is it the rest of my groups locked up, and your not locking me?" I ask not looking at the food
"Because we feel bad enough for hitting your wife as it is, it would be a shame, if something were to happen to you" she says With a hint of a smirk
I pick up the apple, scanning for any sight of something being wrong with it, finding nothing. I take a bite, it was mushy, disgusting honestly, but it was food so I wouldn't complain.
Caitlin glances back at a family and turns around talking to a little girl, I look up around the room noticing a few stares in my general direction not knowing if they were staring at me or Caitlin.
She turns back around and says "eat up, chop chop" she claps her hands
How the hell is she so perky?
I ask myself, before taking a few more bites out of the Apple, then I set it on the tray
"please, I want to be back with my wife" I say
"You must drink first, at least half that bottle" she points to the water, the seal had been opened, not that I really thought anything of it
I pick it up, unscrewing the lid, and chug it down to the half point
"Alright" I set the bottle down gasping heavily
She smiles getting up "we'll head back then" she giggles again, a smirk tugged across her little face.
I follow her, feeling perfectly fine, the Apple was disgusting but it was worth eating for Maggie. All that matters is Maggie, my life, my love, my dreams.
She leads me down the white hallway, at the end was the door, on the other side would be Maggie. I sigh with relief and walk along behind the woman, she gets to the end of the hallway, opening it a crack and peaks in.
I move past her, opening the door, and stare.
The bed Maggie was in, was empty.
"Where is she!" I hiss turning around to glare at Caitlin
"I-I don't know, they must've moved her." She says staring at the empty bed
"Where's Maggie!" I yell a little louder, grabbing one of her wrists, causing her to drop the stupid clipboard she was carrying around
"G-Glenn I don't know, this isn't my doing!" She whimpers, this girl was much smaller then me, she was trembling and she had a authentic terrified look on her face as I towered over her
"Where would they have moved her?" I ask angrily, letting go of her wrist
"A few different places" she says before her watch beeps, she looks down at it and I try to look at it, but she hides it beside her "but um...I've been instructed to..."
"What does that do?" I ask staring at her
She pushes me back into the room and closes the door, a little sliding window in it opens "I've been instructed to put you in here...sorry"
"Caitlin!" I yell kicking the door, I finally understood it, she was a little betraying redhead. The devil.
A little. fucking. devil.
I slam my fist into the door angrily repeatedly "open this door!" I scream at the top of my lungs, feeling the tears start to well in my eyes.
I watch out the little window as she starts to walk away, and I yell "Maggie! Where is she! Where's my wife!" She didn't respond continuing down the hallway
I keep hitting the door knowing it's no use, I kept punching even though my knuckles were raw and bleeding.
I suddenly felt nauseous, and stepped back slightly continuing to hit the door, but my hit started to become weakened, as well as my yells, I started to quiet.
I slide down the door out of breath "m-Maggie, m-my life" I whisper, the nausea overcoming me
My eyes feel heavy and they close, my head falling forward
