Numb is about a woman named Jane. Due to her past, Jane pushes her feelings away. Eventually she pushes them to the point where she can no longer feel them. When she moves to Hawaii for an internship, she meets Ashton. Ashton is gorgeous, hot, and sensual. Every girl wants him and every guy wants to be him...except for Jane. She is indifferent, to say the least.
Numb was both extremely unique and heartfelt. I never truly read a novel about a female who, in a way, loses her emotions and feelings. The plot and storyline was so amazingly drawing that I felt for the characters. It was as if Romaiza Ibad is able to captivate a reader and draw them into the novel in a way that is hard to necessarily do and/or accomplish.
This is definitely a novel I will keep on my radar. Be sure to check it out today :)
