You called me the following morning, as my sister came to check up on me. I was then released from the hospital building.

I'm doing fine. I didn't say a word to you as you were talking, because I was crying. I didn't want you to hear my sobs. (also why I muted myself)

You want a break from our relationship. I understand.

"I had no choice but to leave you waiting for me. I made a promise holding your thin, pale hands" 

Especially with your career going up the charts. I understand. I just want to let you know that I will not stop loving you or caring about you.

I will still write these notes in this book and hopefully one day you will read them.

But you promised to call me whenever I can. You promised that it was just a break in our relationship, not our friendship.
