Heather lounged a little in her seat around the table at the local pizzeria. The table was almost full with her friends. She was bored and looking at her phone, debating about what to do. She knew that she had already been mentioned in about ten tweets about starting school again; Facebook was getting duller by the day. Heather glanced to see if anyone was paying attention, they weren't; so she opened up the Tumblr app.

That was the site that she rarely got notifications on; the only person she knew that had a Tumblr was her cousin. Her friends didn't know that she had one; she knew that they would just make fun of her for being on there. But when she opened up the app, she saw that she had two messages. They were both from one of her favorite people on there.

"Heather!"

Heather glanced up and quickly locked her phone. "Yeah?" She asked looking at one of the girls, Julie.

"Chemistry will be the end of us."

"I know, I don't get why we got put in that class."

"I'm sure you will do great in that." Patrick said sitting down next to Heather.

"When are you going to take a hint that she doesn't like you?" Julie asked him.

Heather was beginning to unlock her phone. "You like me, don't you Heather?" Patrick asked.

"Not really, no." She said, reluctantly putting her phone in her pocket.

"Burn," the other guys at the table said.

"AP Chemistry isn't that bad." Mark said, directing the attention away from Patrick.

"That's right you took it last year." Julie said. "Do you still have your notes?"

"I already offered them to Taylor; but if she doesn't need them, they're yours."

"That's your step-sister, right?" Heather asked, taking a sip of her water.

"Yeah, I think she's in your class." Mark said, playing with his fork a little.

"Probably," Heather said slowly, trying to think. "Pretty long brownish hair?"

"Yeah," Mark said as the waitress walked over to get their orders.

Ethan walked next door and knocked on the front door. Within in a moment or two Ellen opened up the door, cell phone in her hand. "Is Tay-"

"Upstairs." She responded curtly.

Ethan walked in and up the stairs, hearing Ellen continue to talk on the phone. "Hey," he said to Hannah who was in the hallway.

"Does Taylor know you were coming over?"

"No, I have something for her, and decided to drop it off now, instead of waiting until Monday. Why?"

"She's left her room like five times this whole weekend and the entire time she was on her phone. At first I thought she was talking to you and then I remembered that you had a life and wouldn't be on your phone that much."

"Yeah it wasn't me. I wonder who she's talking to."

"I don't know," Hannah said and then walked back into her room.

Ethan knocked on Taylor's door, only to be greeted by her glancing up from her phone. "Who are you talking to?"

"No one, just this girl." Taylor said casually, sitting back down on her desk. "So what's up?"
