Jacky crossed her arms. "We are all out of milk."

Tina stood up. "I can make better tea than her. I put some of mummy wine in it."

"You better not." I said outraged.

Tina pushed out her bottom lip. "Then what am I going to do?"

"You are going to back a cake with me!" Justin stood up picking her up tucking her side ways under his arms.

Tina began to squirm kicking her legs out. "Put me down. You can't carry me like this."

I watched as they disappeared to the kitchen.

Jackson sat there on the floor looking at Jacky intensely.

Jacky sipped her non existent tea slowly her eyes not blinking from Jackson in some sort of state off.

She looked older beyond her years. Jacky was always the serious twin and Tina the more playful.

Looking at her now by Jackson I could see where she gets it from.

Jacky put her cup down on the floor then looked to Jackson again. They both not saying anything.

I was unsure whether to strike up a conversation so they could start talking.

"MJ and Marc has two daddies." Jacky said simply looking at Jackson then stood up to walk to the kitchen.

"What did she mean by that?" Jackson asked standing up.

I shrugged my shoulders. These girls were a mystery to me.

"I think they are starting to realise that not all families have two daddies." I told him as I walked to the door after i heard a knock. "Lisa come in."

I stepped back so that she could enter. She took of her coat to hang it on the hook by the door.

"How you been?" Her eyes drifted to Jackson as he left the room to go to the kitchen.

The twins were here for the daughters not for me.

"I been okay." I sat down on the sofa. She sat next to me. Incredible close. "How's Daniel."

Daniel hasn't been responding to my messages since he left for New York

"He is okay. Just his pride that is wounded. Are you guys still together or is this it?" She nodded her head in the direction of the kitchen.

I shook my head. "With all that is going on. I think it's best that I split with him when he come back. It is not something the I do over the phone."

Lisa placed her hand on my knee. "Nathan told me something a couple of days ago. I was unsure of wether to tell you or not but I can see that you are getting close to the twins. I suggest that you give them a wide birth."

I looked over to the end of the room to make sure that we were truly alone. "What did Nathan tell you?"

"He said he saw the twins come out of this building. When he asked his co worker what building it was. He said it was lawyers that specialise in family law. Hanna!" Lisa whispered over. "We think they are trying to take your kids away from you."

I sat back in shock. "That is absurd. They wouldn't do that." I shook my head. "They can't do that. Not legally the girls are not theirs."

Lisa nodded. "Have they been acting weird. I read online that if you marry them they get equal rights to the kids. Maybe even apply for full custody. Or if you acknowledge them on the birth
Certificate. They have a legal right then."
