Ford waited nervously at the bus stop for his old college....friend.... They were definitely more than friends, no doubt about that, but since then Fiddleford got married...and then divorced (recently) so Ford wasn't going to bring up their relationship, that was for sure. He called up his friend last month about moving up to the small town of Gravity Falls Oregon to help him work on a portal, and to his surprise, Fiddleford agreed to it and was supposed to arrive today. It would be an understatement if Ford were to say he was nervous.
The bus arrived and Fords stomach filled with butterflies and he waited for the doors to open. With a loud screech the buses doors opened and there he was, Fiddleford Hadron McGucket, the sweetest man you'll ever meet. He stepped off the bus with countless bags and boxes in his arms, blocking his vision. Ford couldn't help but smile, he nervously walked over to the lanky man. "Let me help you with those." Ford put his hand under the boxes, grabbing Fiddlefords hand on 'accident'.
"Stanford!" Fiddleford felt the familiar hand against his own, causing him to become flustered and blush. He could hear his heart pounding in his chest. His old partner was behind these boxes, the man he hasn't seen in five years. Fiddleford started to put the boxes down on the ground beside them, once placed on the ground he practically jumped into Fords arms and hugged him tightly, surrounding them in a familiar peaceful warmth. "Still a hugger I see." Ford joked while holding onto Fiddleford. "Oh shush, I've missed you genius! Of course I'm gonna hug you!" Fiddleford stuck his tongue out at Ford once separated from the embrace. "I've missed you too, Fidds." Ford wanted more than anything to kiss Fiddleford but knew he'd been through a lot and it wouldn't be appropriate. "So...where's that little gremlin of yours?" Ford joked, trying to play off how much he loved to feel Fiddlefords body against his for the first time in five years. "Oh! Did I forget to tell you?" Fiddleford laughed nervously. "Tate's stayin' with his aunt in San Francisco until I get settled up here with you." He smiled that warm as ever smile that just seemed so inviting and almost perfect. "Well, guess we should get you settled then." Ford laughed and helped Fiddleford carry his luggage to the car.

Once they arrived at Fords little cabin in the woods that felt incredibly secluded although it wasn't very far at all from town.
"Gee, Stanford. This sure does look nice! Funny lookin' window though." Fiddleford stared up at the attic window as he stood outside the front door. Ford ignored the statement and opened the door for his friend. "Sorry about the mess, I tried to clean up as much as possible but it's still a bit cluttered." Ford moved a few stacks of paper from the middle of the entrance to a desk somewhere in another room. "Anyways, just make yourself at home, after all it is your home!" He shouted from the room he was currently in.
Fiddleford took a moment to take in the small but nice cabin. It was surprisingly clean inside, considering it belonged to Stanford "I'll pick it up later" Pines. It wasn't completely mess free but Fidds appreciated the effort. Fiddleford nervously walked into the parlor and sat his bags down on the carpet slowly. Ford returned to the room and noticed Fiddlefords nervous behavior. He couldn't help but smile. "'Cmon Fidds, it's just me. No need to be so stiff and worried." Ford chuckled as he walked past the light brown haired man standing in the middle of his parlor as he went to blow out a few red candles sitting on a table. There were quite a few of those around the house, Fiddleford just passed it off as Ford liking how they smelled or perhaps looked. "I know, I know." Fiddleford gave a sheepish smile over to his friend as he felt his stomach fill with butterflies. 'Oh no.' If Fiddleford were being honest, Ford had grown quite a bit over five years. He was definitely a bit more muscly and maybe even little taller, not as tall as Fiddleford but close. But still, he seemed so cuddly and soft, like a big teddy bear. Fiddleford could feel his face slowly heating up as Ford took his tan coat off and sat it down on a chair. "Oh, and about the sleeping arrangements, my bedroom is just in there ," he pointed down a hallway to a door. "You can sleep in there until I have time to set up another bedroom. I'll just sleep in my study, and Tate can sleep upstairs." Ford stretched out his arms and back, which made a small cracking noise. "No,no,no! I wouldn't want to kick ya out of your own bedroom!" Fiddleford said frantically. Ford chuckled. "Fidds, it's fine. I rarely sleep in there anyway." Fiddleford frowned is response. Ford had a horrible sleep schedule in college and it would seem it stuck with him, judging by the bags under his eyes and slowed movements.
