It’d been a few days since that couple met their unfortunate demise in our living room and we’d finally cleaned up all the blood, though by we I mean Marry and Dex because I’d been a bit jacked in the head since I gained all those memories. I came to the conclusion that the best way to lose these thoughts would be to forego their blood into the book, thus relieving myself of all links to them or their pasts.

So after a bit of searching for the book I found it buried amongst some other books on the shelf. I opened it up and nothing happened it was as if the blood didn’t want to leave my body, sadly I didn’t have the luxury of letting that happen so I allowed the unthinkable to occur. I called Marry into the room and asked her to feed on me, at first she starred at me in amazement for a few seconds then pinned me to the wall and sunk her fangs deep into my neck. I felt the blood rush into her mouth as I warned her not to swallow. As marry finished drinking she spit the blood onto the book allowing it to cover a few blank pages, to my amazement it worked the blood began to form letters which began to from words then sentences. I turned to the first entry

The page read:

Gigantem

“a towering beast
is what you may see
but beauty within
waits to be set free

So stop all the torment
and stop all the hate
this wasn’t its choice
this was its fate”

Feeling regretful of what I turned the page my eyes welling with tears.

The following page read:

Nympha

“this little beast
welling with pride
strong and true
tempered and tried

tiny as a fly
but mighty as can be
this small little beast
is strong as a tree”

I still didn't know how to feel about all this I just put the book back and moved on, it was all I could do.
