Yet again I awoke to Marry standing over me with that god damn book in her hand. She decided I need to add the Troll to the book. I was reluctant but I’d rather not have this cursed blood coursing through my veins. So I reached my arm out and watched as Dee slit through my wrist with my own sliver dagger, blood rushing out over the book splattering off and onto the floor.

I allowed the wound to heal and went to wipe off the book but Marry had already cleaned it away and begun trying to decrypt it. I attempted to take the book as I could easily read it but she refused to hand it over. Apparently a witch always has to be the smartest person in the room, even when they’re not. Rather than wait for her to give up I snatched up the book and quickly read aloud.

“Though my children

may be crude

please don’t find

my babes rude

they mean no harm

they love you all

please don’t make

my loved ones fall”

I smiled a little feeling the maternal love she must have for all of us then handed the book back to marry. “That’s enough for today” I mumbled as I walked away to go relax.
