this sucked lmao

he knew it was weird, and that he'd flip shit if someone did this to someone he knew,
but he was so sick.
luke hemmings had been staring at the sleeping boy on the train for ten minutes now, seeing how sickly pale he was, and he swallowed and stood, walking over to him and shaking him lightly
'love?'
a groan escaped his lips and luke bit his,
'love?'
'yeah?' he blinked sleepily and luke smiled a bit
'is there anyone i can call for you?' he whispered, and the boy shook his head
his skin was hot and clammy
'five more minutes.' he mumbled and luke sighed, he was barely conscious, so luke did what he knew would be seen as creepy and insane — he picked the boy up and walked off the train at his stop.
he was running a fever, so luke placed him in his bed with a cold cloth on his forehead and he made some soup for when he woke up in the morning, trying not to be creepy when he watched him, but he was actually..like, really pretty.

calum blinked awake sleepily, his eyes only taking a little time to adjust to the darkened room, and he sat up in confusion
then his eyes widened — where the fuck was he?
the last thing he remembers was getting on the train to go home,
oh my god, he was kidnapped wasn't he?!
his thoughts were stopped when a tall blonde walked into the room, seeing him awake so he smiled
'hey love.'
'i'm dreaming aren't i?'
luke giggled
'okay, i'm dreaming or i'm dead because i'm in luke hemmings' bed and i don't know why.'
luke bit his lip
'you were on the train with me, and you looked really sick, so i took you back to mine.'
yup, he was definitely pretty.

he spent the day convincing calum to stay another night so he could keep an eye on him and his health — he was still really weak — and they watched movies and they talked a lot, and even ordered pizza when calum's fever went down at night.
luke never wanted him to leave — as he creepy as that was, — he wanted to know every fiber that made up this small angel.
'are you sure you're okay with me staying another night?' he asked softly and luke nodded, kissing his forehead
'go get some rest love.' he whispered and calum smiled, starting to walk upstairs when he realized he wasn't following
'aren't you coming?'
'i'm sleeping on the couch.'
calum's eyes rounded
'th-that's stupid, it's your bed.'
luke shrugged and murmured 'i want you to be as comfortable as possible — go get rest.'
but calum took his hand and lead them both upstairs, blushes dusting both their cheeks as they both climbed into bed.

calum was asleep on the train again a year later, but his head rested on luke's shoulder.
