"Another black coffee, for Hazuki?" You ask the short teenager in front of you, writing the order down before he can answer.

"Yes, please." He nods, bringing out the money. You take it in your hand, and put the money in the cash register.

"Do you go to Iwatobi High School?" You ask, but you already know the answer. You can tell by his uniform. Small talk, really.

"I do."

"You seem young for a black coffee drinker. Most don't enjoy the bitterness. And you look like someone who just wants to enjoy a cupcake." You laugh a little, eyeing him from the side as you begin to make his coffee.

"What's that supposed to mean?!"

"I'm saying," You put a little something in a paper bag while he isn't looking, and hand him the bag with his drink. "Exactly what you think I'm saying."

You chuckle as he pouts, and leaves with the items you put on the counter for him, not even noticing the paper bag. He takes a large sip, probably trying to prove you wrong, but he makes that weird face again. The pure face of displeasure and like he's eating something sour. You laugh louder, making your customer blush and walk away with an angry face as you lean on the counter.

You roll your eyes as Hazuki walks away, knowing that he was going to come back tomorrow. He always does.

He walks out in front of the window with his friends, and looks like he's bragging from your point of view from the window, but his friends laugh at him. You feel a little bad, but you had a feeling they did this thing all the time. It looked like the short boy had enough, so he took a big gulp of the black liquid, and spit it out right on his friends, then ran away laughing himself. You laugh again, and walk outside with a rags. Even though you felt a little grossed out.

"That should teach you a lesson, you think?" You make your entrance, surprising the three boys. You hand them each a rag. "Dry your selves off and don't be late for school. Return the rags later on today or even tomorrow, just wash them first." You smile at them and wave, before leaving and going back in the shop behind the counter. You couldn't wait to see that boy again tomorrow.

While those boys had learned their lesson, well, you haven't. Not yet.

Extra:

Nagisa waited for his friends to catch up, and took the time to realize the bag in his hand. Shocked, he opened the bag quickly--almost tearing it apart. What he saw made him smile.

Inside was a cupcake-- just a normal cupcake. He took it out, and saw a note underneath. Curious, he took a bite of the cupcake and took the note out.

Stop trying to be someone you aren't Hazuki-- I think we could get along just fine over a cup of vanilla mocha topped with some caramel, maybe? You seem nice, and I find your shortness cute!

(Y/n), huh? She was interesting to call him short when she was just about his height. But netherless, he came to the coffee shop the next day to see she already had the mocha and cupcake ready to go, and he's never smiled brighter when he saw the cup had her phone number on it.
