It was an accident, really.

You were coming home from your work as a barista, when you had gotten lost from the cause of the dark as snow fell from the sky. So you bumped into this weird, gigantic wall that surrounded what you thought would probably be a mansion that you had never seen before. You guessed that the place was owned to a very rich man, who probably didn't want to be bothered. But your phone was dead and you really didn't have any choice but to ask who ever owned this place how to get back into town.

You went up to the large oak door, your foot crunching the snow beneath you and looked at the machine device on the side. You pressed the clear button that turned red when you put the pressure of your finger on it, and spoke into the small speaker.

"Um... hello?"

"Who is it???" Surprisingly, a cheery young voice rung in your ears in response. It sounded like a girl.

"O-oh... This is ____ ____, you probably don't know me? But um, it seems that I'm lost and I can't find my way back. If you could just point the way to town, if you know, it would be--"

"You're lost and don't know where to go?! And in this weather?!" The cheery voice screeched, making you jolt in surprise. Man, what an energetic girl! "Don't you worry, I'll be down real soon! Oh, but I don't really know my way around... Oh! Hitori does! Oh, but he probably won't help if he knows I'm trying to help someone outside the walls. 'Momiji, they can take care of their self, and you have better things to do!' Ahahaah, did you like my Hatori impersonation? Oh, but you don't know Hatori! Oh well! I'll be back soon!" And with that... confusing message, the person was gone and you were left staring dumbfounded at the speaker.

You decided to trust this.. what did she call herself? Momiji. What a strange unique name.

You only had to wait a few minutes sitting next to the huge doors in the snow, your body tinging pink, before you heard the girl again.

"Come on Hitori!! I know you don't like this weather, but you got to see it!! As a special doctor person thing, it might interest you~!"

You smiled, sighing in relief. You were sure whoever she picked to help you would be nice like her. Right?

Suddenly the gates opened, and you gasped at what you saw. There was no mansion in there. No, that looked like a whole village!

"Hey! Look, there's a lady out here too!" You looked to the two people in front of you, one greatly older than the little girl talking. Quite handsome, too. But something about him... Seemed so odd. So... Mysterious?

"Oh, the little girl. Nice to meet you." You smiled down at the girl, who looked at you surprised. Then she giggled at you.

"I'm not a girl, nuh uh! I'm a boy! Momiji at your service!" Momiji bowed, and you covered your mouth from surprise and embarrassment.

"Oh my! I'm sorry." You bowed several times, before a strong voice stopped you.

"I think that's enough. Now, Momiji, is this why you really brought me out here?"

"Mmm, you figured me out!" The blonde boy giggled. "She needs to find her way back to town, she's lost." Momiji and the so called Hatori looked at you. You slowly nodded, your hands finding its way in your pockets.

"Momiji," Hatori sighed, "This is a waste of your as well as my time. Come on, get back in the house before you catch a cold." Well... Momiji's impersonation wasn't completely off.

"No! What about ____ huh?! She'll get a cold too! Come on Hatori, just show her the way to town! It's not that hard!" He whined, running over to you and giving your arm a death like grip with his hand. Hatori noticed your discomfort, which you didn't know was fortunate or not, but he came over and pulled Momiji off of you.

"If I do this one thing, will you not bother me for the rest of the day?"

"Mhmm!"

"Well, then what are you waiting for? Go." Hatori pushed him lightly to the mini village, where he happily trotted off. He seemed to immediately relax when Momiji was out of sight, but then he remembered about you and tensed back up again.

"...It's ____ ______." You blurted, making him turn back to you. You hadn't seen him smile yet, or life flicker in his eyes. He seemed so... robotic.

"Hatori Sohma." You both bowed. "I am sorry for his outbursts. You needed to get to town, he said?"

"Y-yeah. Got lost." You shrugged, looking at the snow falling on your shoes.

"How on earth did you get lost?" A slight tease was hinted in his voice, which made you smirk just a bit. If there was anything you could do right, it was teasing.

"Maybe I was just looking for you and got lost in your eyes, handsome." Well, cheesy, but it worked.

"Creativity in your comment was low," He airlessly laughed, which disappointed you to be honest. You wanted to hear his laugh.

"And showing me where to go was none," You rolled your eyes, and folded your arms. He quirked a brow, well, you think he did, you couldn't see his other eye behind his bangs.

"It's a 3 minute walk if you follow the walls and keep going straight down."

"Hmm, and how long will it take to see you again, Mr.Mysterious?" You lightly elbowed the man, and started walking where he said to go. You heard him huff.

"Hopefully never again, it would be best for both of us."

"OOorr," You dragged, looking behind your shoulder. "In approximately 1 day at 3? In the Calm Cafe?"

"I highly doubt that would happen,"

"Make your own choices, Hatori," You whined, the distance between you two growing bigger and bigger.

"I'm a busy man," He shrugged at you.

"Well, however long it'll take, I'm sure I'm willing to wait, Mr.Mysterious." You smiled, and walked away into the distance.
