It's dark out as I ride my hover- stand over to the boy's cabin. After waking up, I had swiftly done my hair and makeup to prepare myself for seeing Trace tonight. The drudge should be in the cabin by now, I think as I knock on the front door.

Caleb opens the door and greets me, his blue eyes welcoming me, "Hey Olympia! Here to see Trace?"

I laugh at his enthusiasm, and verify that I am indeed here for Trace, as always. I've hung out with Xander and Caleb more over the past few weeks and have found that they are actually really great guys. Xander is a bit more distant at first but once you get to know him he's really funny- he has this dry sense of humor to him. Caleb, on the other hand, tends to always be smiling and happy. It's quite infectious and I can see how they would be just perfect for each other.

Caleb goes back inside, to fetch Trace for me. A moment later, my boyfriend- it still feels a bit weird to think of him as that- comes outside with a perfect smile on his face.

"Hey baby," He says, coming towards me and grabbing my hand.

"Hi," I say sweetly, as I pull him with my to the side of the cabin. He trips as we walk off the porch, and I laugh at his dramatic manner.

"You're not going to ask if I'm okay?" He asks me, pretending to be hurt.

I roll my eyes, "Are you okay?" I ask, pretending not to care as I twirl my light hair in my fingers and lean against the cabin.

"No," He says simply, getting up and brushing himself off. He's fine.

Rolling my eyes yet again, I grab his hand and continue to pull him with me. When we've gotten to the back of the cabin, I lean against the wood and Trace positions himself so that he can look at me.

Probably seeing the worry and nervousness in my face, he asks if I'm okay. Nodding, I say, "Yeah, I just need to talk to you about something."

Trace looks at me expectantly and I sigh, pulling him away from the cabin towards the woods. "Okay," I say, "So you know how I'm almost 18?"

He nods, "Yeah."

"Okay so... if I'm here when I turn eighteen I will have to take the pill that makes me hate men," I continue. "Oh," Is all Trace says to that.

"Well... I think the only way to not let that happen is for me to not be here. So... I want to join the rebellion. And I want you to come with me," I state, awaiting his reaction.

"Really?" He asks, seemingly amazed.

"Well yeah," I say, ducking my head and biting my lip, "I don't have a clue what else we could do."

Trace, running his hands through his dark hair says, "You're right. I couldn't stand to lose you after all that's happened. We should try to go before it's too late."

Wait... that's it? He's just going to agree with me?

"Um, okay. How do we get there though?" I wonder aloud, searching Trace's eyes.

"We'll have to ask somebody I know. They are basically with rebellion. When do you want to leave?"

"Before my birthday, which is exactly a week from now. If I'm still here when I turn 18, I will have to take the pill," I proclaim.
