"He carries stars in his pockets because he knows
she fears the dark. Whenever sadness pays her a visit,
he paints galaxies on the back of her
hand." - Alaska Gold.

Gone Missing

I felt so tired, and stupid for letting Cage actually get to me. He's always had the ability to get under my skin. He destroyed my sisters life, he toyed with her emotions and cheated on her. Crushing everything she ever believed in, and why?

Why did he do all this?

Because he was a sick person who loved watching others suffer.

That night where he just - he just snapped. Both Amara and I were taken to hospital, her with a concussion and a few scratches while I had two stab wounds and a broken arm. Its funny because Cage always claimed that he'd never hurt me but the second I flipped when he hit my sister.

He thought I'd just sit there and let him hurt her in front of me, he was very wrong. I threw myself at him and we tumbled to the floor, he snapped my arm and tried going back after Amara but I couldn't let that happen.

He had already broken her emotionally, I wasn't about to let him break her physically. Cage was always sick, he had the smooth words but dead eyes, he could make you question your worth while making you believe the stars shine for you.

I sat against a cold wall and kept banging my head lightly, the room was dark and cold, and I was literally locked in here. I tried every way possible way out and there was no luck.

I wrap my arms around my chest and frown when I felt something in my bra, and when I pull out my cellphone I literally slap myself in the forehead for being so incredibly stupid.

Turning it on quickly I wait for it to load, the first thing I did was turn down the volume and open up the contacts list, over a hundred missed calls and most of them were from Mason. I frown and than I realized Tompson probably gave him the envelope.

My finger hovers over his name before I click it and bring the phone to my ear, it didn't even make it to second ring when he picked up, "Tessie? I'm so sorry. Please don't hate me, I need to see you now Tessie." He rushed out and I could hear the sadness seeping through the words he spoke.

I laugh lightly and sniffle when it hit me that I started crying when he picked up, "You see, about that.. I kind of cant see you right now," I whisper into the phone, holding it tightly in my hands for reassurance.

He grunted, "Tessie, where are you and why are you whispering?" He questioned and I sobbed out, his breathing came out faster and I heard someone on the other end.

"I found myself in a jam, I'm just happy I can hear your voice," I cry out and he shouted to someone, asking them to track my call.

He let out a deep sigh, "Tompson gave me the envelope, Tessie, I'm so sorry." He whispered, his voice breaking off and I felt my heart stutter, "Don't worry baby, I'll get you back." He whispered into the phone and the tears kept coming.

I shake my head, "Cage took me Mason, just - uh," I clear my clogged throat, feeling it burn when a new wave of tears washed over me, "W-Whatever happens, just remember that you will always be my cocky milkshake." I say, bringing my head back against the bricks.
