It seems only yesterday that all the drama in our lives occurred and passed by. It was tiring for all of us. But gladly we survived.
Yung sa family ni Aly, and lahat ng nangyari sa kanya, sa kanila ni Appa.
Naging super close din kami ni Appa and sometimes we go on dates. Parang naging patient ko din siya kasi madalas ako nagreremind sa kanya kung kelan siya iinom ng meds niya and I'm really strict when it comes to his health and diet.
Nakakatawa nga na Doc Den tawag niya sa kin and nakaka-flatter na madalas tawagin niya akong apo. I feel like I really belong in their family. Sabi naman ni Aly soon daw naman magiging official na part na ako kaya dapat daw masanay na ako.
Sweet di ba?
Ang rare ng guys na nakikita na nila yung future nila with the girl they love and plan it and make sure na whatever happens, makukuha nila yung future na gusto nila. Kaya swerte din ako sa kanya.
Aly's doing really great na din. Natapos na yung sessions niya with Dra. Fontanilla and he's not having nightmares na. He's also given a clearance na to practice again and so he did. And he's getting better at his sport. Just when you thought he has reached his full potential, he surprises you with his incredible talent.
Phenom.
Yung trip namin to Europe, or mini getaway with the whole fam, ginawa nalang na graduation gift since hindi kami makakaalis lahat ngayon due to what happened. Buti nalang napa-reschedule na agad.
The Fab 5 left the team and we're starting to build a group of girls eager and willing to play the sport that they love. Super drama ng pag-alis nila. Everyone was crying their hearts out.
Grabe din yung adjustments na ginawa naming lahat. Yung pressure medyo nawala since evryone knows we're a rebuilding team but yung pressure sa aming mga seniors, nandun pa din.
Can you believe it? I've been playing for the team for three years and turning four this coming season?
Buti na lang din Coach Roger was able to recruit 5 players na and 2 of them schoolmates ko pa before and teammates ko during my last year sa CSA, si Jia and Anna, while yung other 3, sina Michelle, Kim, and si Jaime who's from the US.
And guess what, we have a new coach in the person of Coach Anusorn "Tai" Bundit.
Rebuilding team plus new coach, what will happen?
I remember tuloy the first time we met him. We were eating at Solaire and nasa buffet table kami getting all the food we want. May steak, lobster, and all other exquisite and delicious cuisines.
Then before eating, Sir Tony gathered us then he made a brief background of our new Coach.
FLASHBACK
Sir Tony: So girls, as you all well know, Coach Roger left the team already and we ought to find a new coach. And thankfully, we found him already.
A guy who looks pretty much like a foreigner maybe a Thai, walked beside him. He's even wearing this emotionless straight face.
Sir Tony: This is Coach Anusorn Bundit. You can call him Coach Tai. He's a Thai native and we know there will be a language a barrier 'cause he's not that fluent in english but that is not an issue because he's not an english teacher, he's a volleyball coach. The love for the sport will be your common denominator.
He said while we're just listening intently, or maybe not. Bumubulong bulong pa kasi si Ella, buti na lang hindi napapansin. Ganyan kasi siya, mag-oobserve muna tapos matatawa ka na lang sa mga mapapansin niya.
