What does it take to be a champion?
It takes courage. Courage to face your opponents and fight until the last blow of defeat or victory. Courage to stand tall and represent your Alma Mater whatever it takes. Courage to always choose and support your team even if you lose or win. Courage that these girls have and all other athletes should have.
Watching your girl play her heart out in a Championship game is the worst and best feeling ever. Worst kasi nakakakaba. Mas okay kasi yung ikaw yung naglalaro kesa ikaw yung nanonood ng laro. Doble yung kaba na nararamdaman mo. AND IT IS THE BEST kasi sobrang nakakaproud lang siya. Her passion for the game is phenomenal.
Kahit nagaaway na kami because of her injuries and attacks ng asthma niya, she still fought through it all and played for the team. Sayang lang kasi hindi sila nanalo against DLSU and what hurts most is that, it's the last game for the Fab 5 who really shaped he team. They defined Ateneo's Volleyball Team for 5 years and now is their last game and last fight to bring pride to the school.
Everyone gave them a standing ovation and acknowledged their hardwork and courage to represent the university. Nakabilog silang lahat and photographers are circling them as well. Nandito kami ngayon ng family ko and family ni Den sa loob ng court waiting for our chance to congratulate the Best Receiver and Best Digger who made us all so proud because of her improvements.
Tito Mike: That's a really close fight, sayang pero nakakaproud silang lahat.
I heard him say habang karga si Mosh na hinahanap kung nasaan yung Ate niya.

Kinurot naman siya ni Tita Arlene kaya mas lalo kaming natawa.
Tita Arlene: Patulan ba naman yung bata.
Napakamot na lang ng batok si Tito Mike, walang laban kay Tita eh hahah.
Tita Arlene: Ayan na pala si Pakoy.
After ilang minutes, we saw our girl walking towards us with her sobrang pagang eyes and red nose pero bakit ganun ang ganda pa din.
Ganun talaga siguro kapag you're in love with someone, she becomes the most beautiful girl in your eyes. It's like kahit magpapangit na siya, maganda pa din.
Pero iba kasi talaga yung Dennise Lazaro eh, natural lang po talagang maganda, nakakainlove talaga.

She hugged her parents who told her how proud they are of her and they also tried to uplift her spirit. She was also congratulated by my parents and her sister. Pagdating sa amin ni Mosh, si Mosh ang una niyang pinansin kasi si Mosh and naunang mag-react.
Mosh: Ate, stop crying, you're not pretty na sige ka.
Napatawa naman kami ng mahina dahil sa sinabi nung bata. Kinuha siya sa akin ni Den and kinarga siya. Tapos binaba niya na si Mosh and ako naman, since alam kong ako naman yung yayakapin niya, I opened my arm to welcome her warmth and I was not disappointed. She hugged me and buried her face on my chest. Naramdaman ko namang nababasa yung damit ko kaya mas niyakap ko siya ng mahigpit.
