Chapter 1

“Nunu please try to have fun at least once in a while”, Emily said

“I told you not to call me that Em” , I told hey for the thousand time

“But its cute! And it fits your personality, you should be thankful that I don’t take that really long name of yours you know it doesn’t exactly  rolls off ones tongue” she retorted

“Em that’s the one  reasons I was named that , you for a 18 year old your sure don’t act your age ”

“Hey nunu your no fun ” she pouted , I quickly slapped her shoulder

“Okay okay I give up no calling you Nunu , hey how about noush” she said snapping her fingers together , not again! I thought as I groaned against my pillow which muffled my cries .

“You sure you don’t want to come , cause pool parties are always the best ” she asked me with a concerned expression

“Yes I’m sure , now go before Matt beaks the door trying to get you” I told her with a frown on my face

“kay see ya later then” she cried closing the door of the apartment after her and I sighed in relief .This was my best friend Emily Parker and also one of the hottest girls on campus with her blond hair straight as corn silk, deep blue eyes , a face of an angel and a killer body. To the rest of the world she was unapproachable but to me she was the quirky best friend who insisted on calling me really weird nick names.

I  still don’t know how she came to become my best friend, after my encounter with David on my first day to college I somehow ran into her and ended up telling her every single one of my secrets and exchanged our roommates so that we could be each others funny of how destiny turns things around one  hand I couldn’t talk to David about my parents while ended up telling Em a stranger whom I had just met everything….

Still I don’t regret my decision because after that day I couldn’t find David anywhere I even checked with the  administration  but turns out there never was a student with the name of David Force and why was he on campus that day I thought while resting my head against the headboard but I snapped myself out of it I had more important things to do today and it was even better that Emily wasn’t here I couldn’t let her know not just yet

It was almost eight I stood there getting more annoyed by the minute , what is it with boys and being late I think it runs in their blood or something I mean he was the one who wanted to meet me not me so the least he could do was show up on time!! Ughh this is why I don’t like them don’t get  me wrong its not that I’m not attracted to them but this , this is what annoys the hell out of me . I mean how can Em even stand going out with these lazy college guys , I stood there thinking and on top of that it was a cold night and I having the wonderful memory ( note the sarcasm people ) had left my jacket in my room which was on the other side of the campus

“Stupid jacket… stupid…..boy …. Stood … me up ” I muttered angrily while I kicked a stone unconsciously . I was a unaware of where it had fallen down until  I heard a small sheik. I immediately my head snapped up to see where it had came from , I tried squinting in the darkness until my eyes made out the familiar figure .

“Oh look who decided to finally show up” I said while glaring at him for a second I was entranced by the deep blue eyes but I quickly shoved away any emotion that was sparked by those eyes they were much to alike like Davids’s .

“You did that on purpose didn’t you ” he yelled at me from the shadows

“As much as I’d like to take the credit for that but sadly no I didn’t ” I replied with a sigh he didn’t seem to think I was telling the truth so kept glaring at me with those sky blue eyes . Did I mention that was favourite colour was blue and it was not because of him , blue had been MY colour since forever I loved the blue sky. Ocean , rivers and all but on him the blue was menacing . As much as I wanted to keep insulting him right now I truly wanted to leave so I decided to cut it short.
