A tiny.. Writhing beat blooming behind kindness, and compassion. Slowly eating all of it away... Until I'm sure there will be nothing left....

+++++++++++++++++++++
The previous night had left you stranded with emotions, your heart had nearly collapsed in on itself as you walked past his room.

"Y/n? Going to bed so early?"

You turn around to face Robin, your face softening at her soothing voice.

"Yes...I'm a hit exhausted from my look out shift from this morning, I need the extra sleep."

She nods and turns.

"Well goodnight Y/n, see you in the morning."

You nod and walk down to your room, opening the door and laying on your bed, an almost suffocating feeling overwhelming you.

You close your eyes and try to forget about it, your heart rapidly beating against your chest in protest, begging you to open your eyes.

Your eyes flew open and you sat up, breathing heavily through the suffocating air.

What the hell was happening to you? How are you going to fix this?!

You stand up only to fall down, your limbs shaky and weak at the sudden upright movement.

You wait a moment before trying again, walking to your bedroom door and opening it, walking out into the salty, sea air.

You lean against the railing, feeling sick. Your arms resting against your forehead as you lean over.

The feeling was gone, but you felt rather light headed. Your eyes closed for a split second before a hand was resting on your shoulder.

"Y/n? You alright? You said you were going to bed a minute ago.."

You nod and look up at Nami, a weak smile grazing your face.

"I was...I just wasn't feeling very well in there...it got a bit stuffy and I got Ill.."

She nods and stands beside you, looking up at the sky.

"Yeah, I have feelings like that sometimes too..were you're trapped and you can't get out...you'll get used to it sometime..."

She smiled over at you, a grin plastered to your face as you stood and sigh.

"Yes..I hope so.."

She nodded and walked to her room, leaving you alone on the deck. Or so you thought.

Zoro was in the crows nest watching everything that had happened, grunting to himself.
"Seems about as much as I'd thought, not like I'd be able to tell her."

A small sneer made it apparent on his lips, his teeth glinting in the setting sunlight.

A grunt left his lips as he saw her slip into the kitchen where that shit cook was hiding away, per usual.

He slid down to the deck and made a slow grueling walk to the kitchen, opening the door just a smidge.

"Sanji...I don't know..."

"Come on Y/n-chwan, its not that bad."

"You know I don't like it.."

"I know, but you never give up on something until you try it."

This peaked the green headed mans interest, pressing further onto the door, careful not to make a creak. He couldn't be noticed.

A sigh escaped the girls lips, and she compliantly sat up on the counter, the swirly eyebrowed cook handing her a bowl of something.

"It looks awful..."

He heard a huff, a smirk crawling to his lips.

'Looks like his cooking wasn't all he made it out to be...'

He felt a chuckle tickle in the back of his throat, but he let it die out.

"Whatever, just a small taste."
Another sigh, and she took a small spoonful of the food, nearly gagging and spitting it back in, shoving the bowl into the cooks chest and making a mad dash out the kitchen door, He himself dodging around just in time for the door to crash open.

"Eck! I told you I didn't like raisins Sanji!"

Her awful gagging made his heart drop.

'Damn cook, I should throw him into the water just for making her eat that shitty food.'

Zoro held himself together however, making his way coolly into the kitchen and settling his weight against the wall.

"Hey Zoro, whats up?"

The young girl looked at him with a sickening sweet smile, he could feel his heart pound in his chest.

But he stayed composed.

But that shitty cook couldn't.

"Y/n! Why are you talking to that crap marimo!?"

Before either could speak to the other, two deathly sharpened blades were stuck to the cooks throat, his body pressed flat against the counter.

"Zoro Zoro wait! Don't act so hastefully now its fine!"

She pulled on him gently, allowing the cook time to run from the kitchen and out onto the deck, screaming bloody murder.

"Zoro...what was all that!?"

She seemed frightened...but there was another look in her eyes, she looked intrigued.

"I didn't like the way that shitty cook was speaking to you..making you eat that disgusting food made me nearly vomit.."

He gagged, looking down at the blushing individual.

"O-oh...I didn't think you saw that..."

"I saw everything Y/n, I'm sorry I didn't act sooner."

His eyebrows furrowed, eyes boring into her own.

She nodded quickly.

"Y-yeah...uh...its okay.."

She tried to head out, but was quickly halted by the katana swiped in front of her retreating frame.

"Where do you think you're going?"

She gulped slightly and chuckled nervously.

"I-i was going to go back to my room..."

He grunted, lifting her onto his shoulder and stomping out from the kitchen.

"Z-zoro! Put me down!"

She beat on his back weakly as he made his way to his own room with a slight smirk.

He tossed her to the bed and sat at the end, legs crossed.

"Zoro...what are you doing?"

She looked at him with great curiosity, eyes burning into his.

"I'm keeping you away from that crap cook.."

He made his decent over her, stopping when their faces looked upon one another's.

"And making you mine.."
