Chapter Two
Clarke POV
I felt like it was gonna rain soon so I was trying to get home and out of this park as soon as I could. I forgot my umbrella at work. It was cold and cloudy, which I thought was beautiful. I stopped quickly to take a picture of a tree with dark cloud behind it. The trees branches hung heavy with age and I knew I could paint this picture to look just as beautiful as it already was. I looked at my photo and noticed there was a girl sitting on the side of the tree with a dog laying under her legs.
I thought to myself " I wonder if she's pretty, at least her dog looks nice in the photo. What if she would let me draw him?"
I took a deep breath of confidence and walked over to the young lady and her dog, which was a beautiful Irish Setter.
The girl looked up at me with her green blue eyes and they sent chills all over me. I couldn't help but blush and smile at her. She smiled back and it was more beautiful than any painting I've ever seen. She seemed to be writing in a book when I approached.

Lexa POV
I was writing some story thoughts down under a big red oak tree. Then I noticed a blonde girl in the distance walking fast. She seemed to be in a rush.
Blondie stopped and aimed a camera towards me and Bernie, I think it was of the tree but I didn't mind to much I thought, I looked pretty cute with my messy bun. I wrote down more in my notebook. I heard her approaching me. I looked up into her bright blue eyes and at that instant I felt my heart flutter. She said "Hello" and blushed. I couldn't help but do the same.
She stuck her hand out and introduced herself by saying "Clarke"
I responded with her name again  and shook her hand  "Clarke, not common but beautiful name! I would be Lexa. I noticed you took a picture of Bernie and I?"
Clarke got nervous. " I didn't mean to, just the setting of the nature was gorgeous and after I took the photo, I noticed you two."
Bernie seemed to like this stranger as so did I. He wagged his tail and pawed her leg.
I told Clarke "He isn't to fond of strangers but he really liked you, that's great!"
She laughed and asked, "About the photo, I noticed how beautiful you and Bernie are, could I maybe draw you two in this same spot sometime?"
I was a little shocked on how forward she was. "Yes, I suppose it couldn't hurt at all!"
She smiled and gosh her smile got me.. I wonder if she's gay?

Clarke POV

Lexa shook my hand one last time, boy her hands were so soft and mine fit perfectly into hers.
Thunder crashed and it began to rain.
I shouted "Shit I forgot my umbrella!"
Very smoothly Lexa pulled out a black umbrella, shot it into action and put her arm out for me to hook and then she said, "Not a problem my friend!"
I took her arm in mine and felt the warmth coming from her wind breaker.
We spoke of how cute Bernie looked in his own coat made of the same material as her jacket and how much writing she's done in the past year.
I started to fall for her voice and her bright smile and small chuckles and the love for rain and gloomy weather.
I couldn't help but notice we passed my apartment and I was just hoping she would let me stay at her house.
