Jasmine pov

"So let me get this straight, You want me to tutor you?" I asked with a raised eyebrow

"Yeah." He said as if it was the thing to do

"You, Ben Simmons, want me, Jasmine, to tutor you, mister superstar can do nothing wrong?" I asked

"Yeah I get it, I get Jasmine. So are you going to help or not?" He groaned

"I don't know, you haven't really been nice to me. Like ever. Matter of fact I remember you pushing me down one day." I said

"Jasmine please. The team needs you, the school needs you." He said grading me by my hands and stepping in my face

"I need you." He whispered

"Fine." I sighed

"Oh my gosh Ben what are you doing?" I groaned in frustration

"I don't know okay." He said slamming the book down

"You know what I am done, I quit. You know what I won't play no more cause I am so fucking over this." He said putting his head in his hand

I heard some sniffles coming from him, so I stood up and hugged him from behind.

"Ben are you okay?" I asked really worried

"No, everything is falling apart." He sniffled

"Talk to me baby boy." I said playing with his hair

He listed a few things that were going wrong for him, one being he is disqualified for any awards due to having less than a 2.0.

"Ben it's going to be okay, I am here to help you. I am not giving up so neither are you." I said making him face me

"Promise not to give up on me. Everyone else has." He said with his head down

"I promise." I said holding his head in my hands

At the SEC tournament

"And your started for the LSU Tiger... And Ben Simmons."

I got up and cheered really loud. All our hard work paid off.

"Thank you baby girl." He mouth to me

I blushed in response. I have been tutoring Ben everyday for the past month. And in that month we learned a lot about each other and we got really close.

After the game

The guys won and Ben ran over to me and pulled me over the bench to give me a hug.

"Okay Ben! I see you!" Antonio yelled being extra

I giggled burying my face in his neck

"Excuse Ben can we have a minute." An ESPN interviewer asked

He let me go and stepped to the side.

"Coming back from missing two games how did you do it?"

"We'll I had a great support system, I was working extra hard in my school work and basketball. And this girl right here is the best tutor in the world." He said pointing at me

"I wouldn't be here if she didn't put in all the effort she did. When I wanted to give up she wouldn't let me. She didn't give up on me like a lot of people did. I love her." He said looking at me the whole time

"Alright thank you Ben."

"No thank you." He said walking away

He came and place his lips on mines. It was so many emotions all at once. But when he pulled away everything became clear.

"I love you Ben." I said

"I love you Jasmine."
