im sorry I couldn't protect you

"justin you should really go home you've been here all night" the nurse said walking in to check on ariana 

"im fine" I stayed at down at the side of ariana's hospital bed holding onto her hand when I felt her hand flinch 

"baby? you're okay"

"justin?" she asked still a bit out of it 

"yes baby im here" I kissed her hand then yelled for the nurse to come back 

Ariana had to stay in hospital she was in really bad shape I felt like it was all going to end soon which terrified me but I couldn't let her see that 

"justin you should go home" ariana's dad said sitting in the room with me 

"no im not leaving her"

"please I need sometime with her, go home get a shower clean clothes I just need to be alone with my daughter"

I could see the desperation in the mans eyes so I agreed I kissed ariana's forehead which woke her up 

"where are you going?" she asked gripping my arm 

"just going to give you and your dad some space baby dont worry ill be back"

she smiled and let me go. 

Ariana's POV 

Justin walked out he's been so great to me most guys would of just left but no he stays. plus most guys only want one thing but justin he hasn't even mentioned it or pressured me into anything. My dad moved closer to me taking the seat justin has been sat in for longer then most would.

"do you remember when you where little and I was teaching you how to ride a bike"

I smiled and nodded 

"and you where so scared you thought you was going to fall but I promised you that I would protect you, and you did you learned how to ride a bike and you didnt fall once... Ariana im sorry I couldn't protect you from this im sorry I haven't been the best dad in the world and I know I hold you too close but its only because I didnt want to lose you, your my baby I was meant to go before.. I just"

I stopped him my voice still hurt so I could only talk quietly "i love you so much"

he smiled and tried to talk but couldn't resting his head on my hand which he was holding tightly he cried just like I was 

Pattie's POV

I heard the door open and close I walked to the hall way which had a perfect view of the door justin was stood there he just looked at me the shook his head no words where needed I could see him falling apart he came walking towards me then just crashed into my arms and started braking down into tears 

"she's dying mom, why, she's dying no" he moving his full body weight on to me not being able to stand I couldn't hold him up so I knelt down on the floor with him My little boy crying he was so angry and so sad it was tearing me apart it was like he had kept everything bottled up until now as if he wouldn't admit it to him self. 

2 hours later 

I grabbed my bad and was about to head to the hospital when my phone rang 'ariana :)'

PHONE CALL 

j- hey baby

a- hey guess what 

j- what?

a- Im out 

j-out?

a- im out the hospital they gave me some medication and I just feel so much better 

j- that's amazing im so happy. Ill come over 

a- no ill meet you at lilys party

j- are you kidding ? you just got out of hospital you shouldn't be going a party no

a- baby please this is what i need, please?

j- ..... fine but we wont be staying long 

a- i love you 

j- i love you too

I put my bad down and headed to lilys there where drunk teenagers everywhere the music was so loud I saw lily stood with ryan I pushed my way past some teenagers who where all over each other 

"justin!" lily screamed clearly drunk 

"have you guys seen ariana?"

"shes out? that so great" ryan said smiling big

I started looking round for her but she was no where to be found. 

then my phone started ringing 

'ariana :)'

J - where are you?

A- "come find me" she giggled making me smile 

J - give me a hint ?

A- you're in the wrong house
