completely infatuated

--later that night--

mom promised me she would stay sober she gave me her word so I felt alright about leaving her with jazzy, I walked to ariana's because my car was running low on gas Once i got to ariana's she gave me a hug when she let me in then I sat down on her couch 

while she was looking at the movies 

"lets watch titanic" she said giving me an evil smirk 

"no that movie sucks" 

"where watching titanic" she put the movie on then cam and sat next to me with a bowl of popcorn and we sat watching the movie 

"this is so stupid the girl is annoying"

"shhhh" she said hitting my arm i couldn't help but chuckle 

"but-"

I was cut off by ariana shoving popcorn in my mouth 

"oh wow you really wanna go there?" 

ariana smirks and shoves more popcorn in his mouth "just did" 

seeing her smile was the best part of my day 

"so how come you moved here anyway?" 

ariana's smile turned "uhm my mom's sick we moved to be closer to some family"

I moved my hand on to ariana's "im so sorry ari"

she smiled looking at my hand on hers which instantly made me smile 

"thanks justin your a good friend"

before I could reply my phone rand it said 'mom' was calling 

"hello?"

"justin?"

"jazzy? why are you on moms phone? is something wrong"

"mommy wont wake up"

I felt rage and guilt, rage at my mom and guilt that I actually left her. Ariana could tell something was wrong,

"okay just stay there ill be there soon okay?" 

"i love you"

"i love you too"

jazzy hung up then I quickly stood up 

"could you give me a ride ?"

"yeah sure, whats wrong?" taking Justin's hand 

"its a lot to explain" I gave her a smile then headed out the door her still holding on to my hand, in  the car I just kept thinking about jazzy she's just a kid. Once we got to my house Ariana came in with me I couldn't stop her she was worried. I opened the front door to be greeted by jazzy running up to me I bent down and picked her up when she ran into my arms hugging me tight 

"woah you miss your big brother?"

she nodded and my attention caught my mom passed out on the couch and an empty bottle and glass next to her. I knew ariana had seen her I felt embarrassed.

ariana's POV 

Justin's baby sister ran straight into Justin's arms he was very cute with her but I couldn't not question in my head what was wrong with his mom she has 2 beautiful kids what could make her do this. I was pulled out my own thoughts by hearing Justin's deep voice and Golden hazel eyes locking mine

"jazzy this is my friend ariana, ariana this is my little sister jazzy" he smiled as the little girl that was draped round him wearing barbie pyjamas looked at me 

"hi are you my brothers girlfriend" 

I giggled seeing justin blush at her question "no sweetie your brother his my friend, but I must say you are a cutie" 

"shes pretty" jazzy whispered into justin's ear 

he nodded "yes she is, have you seen the time? its way past your bedtime better get princess jazzy to bed" 

jazzy shook her head while justin nodded he was so good with kids, he'll be a great dad 

"story?" 

"I dont know, ariana is that okay?"

I quickly nodded and headed up stairs with them both, once we had both read the story to jazzy she was fast asleep leaning against me, I gently laid her head on  the pillow then me and justin sneaked out then into his room, we sat on the bed wasn't long before justin started apologising 

"im so sorry about that, I wish you didn't have to see it" 

"does she usually pass out like that?"

justin nodded looking down at his hands "yeah everyday"

"why?"

"she uhm she kinda lost it when my dad died"

I moved closer to justin giving him a tight hug. This boy was something else. he was like no one iv ever met before he was sweet, caring, kind and handsome not just a little handsome like movie star handsome he was so  nice I dont think its fair for bad things to happen to him... im completely infatuated 

"justin im so sorry"

he hugged my back feeling his muscly arms wrapping round me made me feel I know this is extremely cheesy but safe 

"its okay"

"how did it hap- i mean you dont have to tell me"

we pulled away still close to each other 

"he was in an accident.. drunk driver crashed into him" 

I kissed his cheek and gripped his hand I saw a little smile and his cheeks go the most perfect shade of red 

"It hit everyone hard jazzy isn't really old enough to understand or for it to really effect her but my mom and my dad they where one of those couples that you know are well where gonna be together for ever yenno? like they where strong, so my mom just cried and cried for days now she numbs her pain with drink I guess" 

"what about you?"

"i-i have to look after them I cant let it all get to me or this family would be even more off a mess" 

justin's POV

we both laid back on the bed then ariana took my hand and turned on her said then wrapped my arm round her, I moved closer and tightened my arm round her hoping id never have to let go.

"justin?" 

"yeah?"

"you're amazing" 

she stayed quiet after that and so did I before I knew it she was asleep still holding my hand my arm still round her and i was slowly drifting of into the best sleep iv had in awhile 

-next morning- 

I woke up to ariana moving my arm slowly. She even looked beautiful in the morning I sat up and yawned stretching  

"morning" 

she turned her head giving me a smile "morning so what are we doing to day" 

-smirks- "we? i dont know about we but I have to do homework"

-giggles- "oh yeah I forgot about that" 

"any chance of you giving me any help?" -smirks moving closer to her-

"hmmmmmmmmmmmmm im kidding of course my parents aren't  going to be back for a few hours"
