24. Leave The World

Riley POV

She was lying there. Blood surrounding her.

Riley: CALL AN AMBULANCE!

Lucas took out his phone and started dialing 911. I looked back down at her.

Riley: WHY MAYA WHY?????!!!!!!!!!

Blood was coming out of her stomach. I pressed my hand on the wound but it just wouldn't stop bleeding.

Riley: SOMEONE GIVE ME SOMETHING TO STOP THE BLEEDING!!!!!!

Missy came running to me handing me  a clean cloth. I put it on her wound and put pressure on it.

Lucas: Okay. I called the ambulance. They will be here in 5 minutes.

Riley: 5 MINUTES!???? WE DONT HAVE FIVE MINUTES! CALL THEM AGAIN AND TELL THEM MY BEST FRIEND IS DYING!

Lucas stepped back away from me and started to call again. Then I turned my attention back to Maya.

Riley: Maya please stay with me. Please.

Tears started to run down my face like never before.

Riley: Please Maya, I can't loose my best friend.

Maya POV

Everything went black, everything.

I still had a strong will to live.

I had to open my eyes even if it was for the last time.

I slowly opened my eyes to see Riley crying.

Maya: R-R-Ri-Riley.

Riley POV

Riley: MAYA!

She was weak but still managed to open her eyes wider.

Maya: I w-want to t-tell y-you t-that I l-love y-

She stopped talking.

Her energy was almost gone. Her eyes started to get heavier, they were almost closed.

Riley: Maya... Maya, don't leave me!

Maya POV

I didn't want to leave. I wanted to be by Riley's side. I couldn't leave my best friend.

I heard the ambulance. I couldn't keep it up.

I started to get sleepy.

Riley: NO! PLEASE MAYA! THE AMBULANCE IS HERE! JUST LISTEN TO ME! DONT GIVE UP! NEVER GIVE UP!

I heard the nurses come in.

Nurse: Where is she!?

And with that I leave the world.
