Jacobs POV
"Bro? You all good?" I look up and see Joseph is waving his hand in my face.

"What?" I say and he laughs.

"Are you ok?" He says, still giggling.

"Why wouldn't I be?"

"Because Grace just came by and wiped out. You completely blanked out and she left like two minuets ago." Joseph says, and looks at me.

"Oh. No bro I'm fine." I say.

"Whatever you say! But either someone has a deep fear of blood or someone has a crush on Grace Thomas." Joseph says, wiggling his eyebrows.

"Nope, and not saying." I say, my cheeks heating up. Grace is so pretty and I've liked her ever since third grade. Her bubbly yet shy personality is so amazing. If I asked her out though, Mark wouldn't keep his eye off me. Mark Thomas is the most popular kid in our grade, and if something ever happened with me and Grace, he would hate me for the rest of my days.

"Let's go inside and get some food!" Joseph yells, and I nod my head.

"Yeah man!" I say, and run inside. We go downstairs, where most of my sleepovers are hosted. Joseph and I flop on the couch and start eating all the food down there. No wonder I'm getting fatter. Hahahahaha, jk.

"So your telling me you don't like Grace?" He asks me. I haven't told anyone about my little crush, but I needed to get it out. I trust Joseph.

"Do you like food?" I say, and he looks at me with a confused look.

"Well duh..." He says. I give him a look, and he finally processes it.

"Omg! I new it! I new you liked Grace!" He screams, and I cover his mouth.

"Do you want me to yell out your little crush AUBREE?" I say, and he grabs my hand off his mouth and slaps it.

"Bro shut up they're hanging out right down the street." He says to me with a serious look. "Well anyways, why haven't you asked her out? it's obvious she likes you back."

"What?! No she doesn't! Plus if I dated her, Mark would get the whole school to go against me." I say, and Joseph gives me a look.

"Or the opposite will happen!" He says, smirking.

"Idk, maybe. I'll think about it." I say, then go on my phone.

"That's my boy!" Joseph says, and pats me on the back. He then goes on his phone, and then his face goes blank.

"What?" I say, and he waved his phone in my face and starts yelling random gibberish.

"What? Talk slower! I don't understand what your saying!" I say, and he stops waving the phone.

"This video is blowing up of Grace singing! It's everywhere!" He says, and I grab the phone out of his hand.

"Woah." I say. I was speechless. Her voice was just as beautiful as her face. I needed to have this girl.
