CHAPTER 7

Tony's POV

Adjusting to life with Ziva has been a very easy process, over the past few months its been almost surreal, I feel like I'm living in a fairytale with her because everything's perfect. Her due date is in the next week and we're both ready and excited. I was asked to bring her over to the gibbs house so I did just that and when we got there she walked into a surprise baby shower with the girls and a few other women I've never met

Ziva: did you know about this?

No, I had no idea they planned you a baby shower and this looks like a girl thing so I'll see you later

Jenny: the guys are right outside, your staying for this and we figured tony couldn't keep a secret, so we didn't mention our plans to surprise you

Ziva: thank you so much for all of this, it was really sweet

Jenny: I'm just glad you like it, I didn't know if you would because your different from the average pregnant woman

Ziva: I think it's nice and I really love the chocolate cake, that's the best part of all of this

Jenny: I thought you might love that, Tony will get you a slice while I introduce you to a few of the guests, I know you don't like a big show of things so I kept it small. The Costello's are very close friends of ours. This is Alexandra, Alessandro and their four children. They have a set of twins Jade and Derek the youngest then their older kids Alexa and Alexander

Tony: I was expecting his name to be Alex or something

Ziva: I've met Alexandra Costello many times before, she's where we got most of our warrants being the only one hearing us out in the middle of the night

Alex: yes, agent David. You and DiNozzo were my husbands biggest annoyance for an entire year. Congratulations, twins are the best and if yours are as close as mine it makes it all the better

Ziva: thank you. Jen I haven't seen Kat in a while, is she here today?

Jenny: she's upstairs sleeping, she doesn't feel well today. Derek's been taking good care of her while I was putting this shower together

Ziva's POV

The baby shower was a good experience for me. I enjoyed playing the games that were arrange and opening gifts. I was very thankful of the event, I wanted to check on katherine since she's upstairs sick so I went in and the poor kid was all wrapped up in bed

Katherine: Derek is that you?

No, its Ziva. I wanted to check in on you because I heard your not feeling well

Katherine: that's sweet, do you mind getting my bag from the bathroom, its right this way

Your room is huge. Is this the master bedroom?

Katherine: it used to be, but then they did a remodel. Mom and dad has the master and I wanted a bigger room so I got this one

I walked into her bathroom which was decorated in pink and gold, she had a make up area in there aside from the actual bathtub, shower and sink. It was pretty nice

Katherine: Ziva your leaking all over my newly tiled floor

I looked down to see that my water broke, these babies has the worst possible timing. I wasn't in any pain or distress and started to clean up the mess, luckily my dress was still dry

Katherine: stop doing that, you don't need to hurt yourself. I was just alerting you that your water broke

It's okay, it's all cleaned up now
