CHAPTER 4

Ziva's POV

Today I woke up happier than ever, because today's the day Tony comes to visit and if I'm correct he should have landed by now, so I'm here waiting. I didn't think I'd get this excited because I see him everyday, but seeing him in person will be so much better than a video chat. As a walked outside a little taxt cab pulled up in from of the house and out came Tony and his bags. Instantly a smile appeared on my face, and he came and gave me a hug, after staying a while in my warm embrace he got his things inside we headed out back for a little walk

Tony: I can't believe I'm actually here with you again, Zi I really did miss you

The feeling is mutual Tony. How was your flight here? I know its a long journey to get here from Washington

Tony: it was worth it for you and my baby. Your starting to show a little

I noticed, but its not too much. The doctor a said our baby is a little on the small side right now, but it could change because we have five more months to go

Tony: I like how you said we. I took the summer off to be here with you and it's not only because you asked. I want to be with you, but I'm just wondering if that's what you want. We talk and say I love you, but are you in love with me? Do you see a future with us?

To answer both of your questions yes. I want us to work out because I do love you, but you have to have patience with me. The last serious relationship ended really badly for me and I just don't want to end up hurt because it's not just me to think of anymore

Tony: I would never hurt you in any way

I know you wouldn't, I was just a little afraid to take the next step and it took a lot out of me to admit that because I'm not used to these feelings and being vulnerable

Tony: it's okay to open up to me, I'm here for good. I don't think you can get rid of me if you tried. The reason is brought it up is because I want to know if you actually want to come back home with me after the summer. I know you needed time and I gave you time and space, I'm just wondering when you'll be ready to actually do this with me. I know I'm getting excited about this whole baby thing, but that's not the only reason I want to be with you

If you want me to come back with you after the summer then that's what I'll do, but I've been thinking and we have to start actually preparing for a baby. So far I got nothing

Tony: we can do that together for a change. I know you have an appointment later today, so once we find out what we're having we can start baby shopping

I completely forgot about that, Tony I'm late, we have to get going now or I won't be fit in for another month. I can't wait that long

We headed off to the clinic where I made it just before the doctor went out and he was able to perform the ultrasound. The baby was finally turned in a way where he could tell us the gender and I was all to excited, but the machine had a malfunction, it was hard to see anything, but luckly the doctor could see between the baby's legs, that was about it. when I heard the words "it's a boy" Of course Tony couldn't understand a word of what he was saying. After the appointment Tony took me home and we sat together on the couch

Tony: are you happy?

I'm very happy, but why haven't you asked what he said yet? I thought for sure you'd want to know right away since your the one who really needed to know

Tony: I know what he said, we're having a baby boy and I'm happy to know that I'll have me a son pretty soon. I guessed boy and I was right, I was just so excited that I had no words
You speak Hebrew now?

Tony: not even close, I learned two more phrases which are it's a boy and it's a girl so I wouldn't be completely lost in there

He interlocked our hands and leaned my head on shoulder, he used his free hand to hold my chin up as he pressed a soft kiss against my lips

Tony: I love you and I love how your the one I get to share this amazing experience with. I'm happy to be having a baby boy with the woman I love more than anything in the world

I love you too and your a pretty great person to be doing this with. I know I made the right choice in telling you because even though we were thousands of miles apart you made me feel like I was never alone and that's what I really needed

Tony: I told you I'd be here and I meant every word of it. Zi I was wondering if you would like to come with me to New York to see my dad before we head home? He's really to finally be a grandad, well almost because she's not here yet and he already loves you so much

I don't mind doing that, visiting senior will be fun and we can start our baby shopping while we're in New York so it works out great for everyone

Tony: another thing, my apartment is not baby safe and there's no space for a baby in there so I was looking at different places where we could live. Time is winding down so I'd love to know what you think.

How can I when I can't actually see your choices?

Tony: the listings are online so we can look together. It will be your home too, so I want you to actually like it

If we're moving in together and your looking at houses I think it would be better if we bought it together. I would be more comfortable knowing we're in this together as a team

He took out his laptop and we started looking through the listings

Tony: fine, if that will make you more comfortable we can buy a house together. I like this one with the big yard, we could put a swing set out there and it's four bedrooms. That would be a good investment if we decided to have another child and there will be space for wen senior visits. Its not too far from work for me and the neighborhood is nice

You sound so domestic right now and your thinking about having more than one child with me. I think its sweet how you really want a future with me and I love the house. We should make an offer

Tony: are you really sure about this one?

I'm sure, you like it and I like it. I'm sure our son will too and we don't have to stay here too long. I want to go home. I'm tired of being unhappy, I'm tired of being alone

Tony: your never alone, you have me and we're having a baby. I've been waiting for you to want to come home and we can leave whenever your ready

You just got here

Tony: and you want to go home, how can I not let you? I know this place is still very important to you, so we'll visit if you want to. This is where you were born

Yes, there are many memories of my time here and I'd like to come back sometime, but right now I want to get my things together so we can go home ttomorrow

Tony: I'll take care of that, come lay with me for a while

I leaned back on the couch with tony as he wrapped his arms around my body making me feel so safe and protected, I guess sometime after laying there with him I must have fallen asleep. It's been a tough week for me
