CHAPTER 17

~Nash's POV~

After I finished my conversation with Dann, I walked back down and saw all the guys in the living room playing a video game. I sat down and watched them until it was time for me to get ready. I walked back up to my room and grabbed a pair of jeans, a white shirt and a red flannel. I changed then went in front of the mirror fixing my hair before putting on a red snapback on backwards. I checked the time it was 4:45, better go now I told myself

I walked downstairs and the guys whistled. I shook my head and went in the kitchen, grabbing the picnic basket I did as soon as Cam and I arrived at the house. I also grabbed a blanket so we could sit down on it.

"I'm going now" I told everybody

"Have fun but not too much" Matt told me

I got a bunch of other unnecessary comments then I walked out and went in one of our cars making my way to Gabs house. I was starting to get really nervous. 10 minutes later I was pulling up in her driveway. I got out of my car and walked up to her front door. There was only one other car in the driveway in which I'm guessing it's her moms' since Gab told me her dad and sister were at  a dance competition. I knocked on the door and a women, I'm guessing her mom, answered.

"Hello ma'am" I said

"Hello, Nash. Gabrielle is upstairs, I'll go get her" Her mom smiled and stepped aside so I could walk in. I looked around, it was a really nice house. I looked at the staircase and saw Gab coming down.

"You look good" I said

"Not too bad yourself" She smiled as she put her shoes on

"Have fun you two" Her mom said

"Bye mom, see you after" Gab said

We walked out and I opened the passenger door for her

"Thanks" I heard her say as I went on my side

I got in the car and put my seat belt on, Gab did the same

"So now can you tell me where we are going" She asked

"Nope" I laughed

"Come on" She said, looking around the car

She looked behind in the back seats

"Hey! Eyes in front" I yelled

"Okay, okay" Gab replied

I started driving to the park, I was taking her to.

We listened to the radio, singing along sometimes, until we pulled into the parking lot

"I see we are at a park" Gab commented

"Yep" I said not giving her any more information

We got out and I went in the back seat to get the basket and blanket. I grabbed them and closed the door, locking the car. Gab was just looking at me.

"Come on" I said, grabbing her hand

I led her across the park.

"So we aren't going near the park" Gab asked, as we passed the park

"Nope, but we will be close to it" I answered

We arrived where I wanted to have the picnic. It was really close to the beach and there was a bunch of big rocks so we could sit there. I led Gab to the rocks and I placed the blanket on it.
