Chapter 58

~Dannielle's POV~

It's been a week since I've called Ms.Revy and I haven't said anything to anyone. Obviously some of them are starting to notice that I'm acting strange, especially Cam, the girls, Hayes, Tez, Aaron, Sammy and the Jacks. However, I've been thinking a lot and I still have no idea what to do. This is a big decision to make.
Right now, I'm in my room alone. After school today, the girls all decided that they wanted to go get their nails done but I said that I had a headache as an excuse not to go. Cam was getting home later since he had a meeting of some sort.
After sitting on the bed for half an hour doing some more thinking, I decided to call my grandpa. My grandpa and I have always been close but since I've moved out to Cali I haven't really talked to him. I dialed the house phone knowing that he would be just getting home after a long day working in the garage.
He answered after two rings
"Well who do we have here" He said as he picked up
"Hey Peps" I smiled
"I'm surprised you remembered my old nickname" He told me
"I'm sorry I haven't really called since I left" I apologized
"Ah, it's alright. I know you're busy with your friends, boyfriend, the sun and school work" He replied "How's everything going" He asked
I talked to him about everyone and what I've been up to. How I started school again not that long ago and then finally I told him about Mrs.Wilson, Ms.Revy and the decision I have to make.
"Wow" My grandpa said after I told him everything "You have one heck of a decision to make" He added
"I know" I sighed "I have no clue what to do and I have one more week to figure everything out"
"Well tell me what's stopping you from taking this opportunity" He questioned
"For starters, I just started my second year of university therefore I havent graduated yet. Then there's my family and friends who I would be leaving for 4 years. I would be traveling alone, going to places I've never been before. I could easily get lost or murdered. I'm still young..." I listed a bunch of things
"You could always go back to university and finish your degree afterwards. Your family is going to support you no matter what and so will your friends, if they're real ones. You've always wanted to travel the world, even as a young girl, and the thought of getting lost or killed never seemed to bother you so why should it now. And yeah you're young but it's time to do those kind of thing when you're young. I wish I did" He told me
I stayed silent for a couple minutes, letting everything he said sink in.
"I think I just made my decision" I finally said "Thanks Peps"
"I'm always here" He said "Goodluck"
"Love you" I said and he said it back and then we hung up
I took a deep breath before dialing Ms.Revy's number. She answered right away
"Darling, I've been waiting for your call" She said as soon as she picked up "Have you thought about my offer" She asked
"Yes, I did. A lot. And I have an answer for you" I answered
"Go on, what is it dear" She questioned
"Yes" I told her
"Amazing!" Ms.Revy cheered
I smiled
"You'll be hearing from me again soon. This time with arrangements and everything else you need to know" She said
"Okay"
"I'm looking forward to working with you"
"Likewise"
We talked for a bit more and then she had to go
I closed my phone and laid down. I can't believe I'm actually going to do this. Now I just have to tell everyone, starting with Cam.

When Cam came home, I was still in the bedroom.
"Hi babe, how was your day" He greeted me
"Pretty good" I smiled
"Whoa I haven't seen you smile in almost a week" Cam teased me
I rolled my eyes
"How was your meeting" I questioned
"Boring" He replied "Are you ready to talk to me about whatever has been bothering you" He looked at me
I nodded and he sat down besides me
I told him everything, starting from the day Mrs.Wilson told me about Ms.Revy up until now
After I finished, he stayed silent
"Cam" I said "Please don't be mad"
"Mad?" He repeated "Why would I be mad" He asked
I shrugged
"This is your dream, I will not stop you from living it" He told me "This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, I'm happy you took her offer" He added
"But what about everyone? What about you? What about us" I mumbled the last part and looked down
"Hey, look at me" He lift my chin up, making me look at him "Nothing will change. We'll be able to work through a little long distance. I'll come visit you. We'll all come visit you" He assured me
I nodded slightly
"Don't you worry about none of that" He said before kissing me
After talking a little bit longer, I called my mom and told her about my new job. She was happy and excited for me
"Guess all that's left, is to tell the gang" I said to Cam, after my mom and I exchanged our goodbyes.
"You wanna do it right now" He asked and I nodded slightly
I grabbed my phone and went on the groupchat that had everybody on it
Me- Hoes, make your way to my apartment
Me- Very important!!!
Ma Kiwi- Are you pregnant?
Em- Not this shit again
Taco Bell/Tay Bae- Agreed^^
Me- @gab no I'm not pregnant and we're not having this discussion... again
Haaasey Poo- I'm on my way
Jackolantern- I'm with him
Salty Fry- ^
Eyebrows- ^^^
Soon everybody was replying saying that they were coming.
The first ones to arrive were the girls obviously and the rest followed afterwards.
I made them all sit down in the living room, some of them on the floor since we didn't have enough room
"Okay so if you're not pregnant, what's this about" Gab asked
"Are you guys engaged?" Carter questioned
Everybody started talking at the same time and then those comments turned into a fight
"I would obviously be the maid of honor" Em told the girls
"Hoe you fucking wish" Kori said
While the girls were fighting about that, the boys were fighting over who would be Cams best man
"I'm his bestfriend" Nash yelled
"Fine but if you're the best man then I'm the Godfather of their babies" Hayes spoke
"The fuck you are" Tez argued
"Enough" I shouted
They all stopped talking and looked at me
"No we are not engaged, but if we were Maggie would be my maid of honor so you girls wouldn't kill each other" I informed them
"And Drake would be mine" Cam added, a little bit too confident in that
"And The Godfather and the Godmother would be whoever buys me to most food during my pregnancy" I said
"Pregnancies" Ethan corrected and I glared at him
"Now the real reason I called all of you here is because this last week I had a decision to make. A big one. I had a lot on my mind and I wasn't myself. Some of you questioned my weird behavior, some of you noticed but didn't say anything and some of you may have not noticed at all" I began "My photography teacher has this friend who was looking for a photographer to help her with a project of hers. Mrs.Wilson asked me if I was interested and obviously I said yes. When I called her friend, I learned that in order to work with her I would have to leave for 4 years to travel the work while taking pictures" I paused to catch my breath and all of my friends were looking at me in shock "The week after my call with Ms.Revy I was thinking about her offer but I wasn't really thinking about it, I guess. Today after school I decided to call my grandpa and he helped me make my decision" I said and they all waited for me to continue. I took a deep breath. "I have made the decision to go. This is always something I've wanted to do and it's a once in a lifetime opportunity. I hope you guys understand and know that I love you all" I finished
There was a couple of seconds of silence before they all started talking at the same time.
I heard many "This is amazing", "I support you", "I'm so happy for you" and "What does this mean".
We all had a nice long talk, similar to the one Cam and I had moments ago, and we figured everything out
"Well since everybody is in a happy mood and we are announcing things" Kori spoke and stood up "I'm pregnant" She announced
"What?!!" We all yelled, including Grayson meaning he didn't know either
"Surprise!" She did a ta-da pose
"When the hell did that happen?" Grayson asked her
"About 3 months ago..." She answered
"How did that happen" Johnson said
"Well you see when two people love each other..." Skate started
"They one day decide that they want to show their love in a more intimate way" Gilinsky continued
"And that way is called sex" Sammy finished
"I didn't mean it like that" Johnson told them "I mean how would Grayson let that happen" He said
"He likes it raw and he's pullout game is weak as frick" Kori answered
We all looked at her
"It's true" She shrugged and Gray went right red
"My virgin innocent ears" Hayes yelled
"Wait so you're legit pregnant" Liv asked her
KoKo nodded
We all congratulated her and decided to go out to celebrate.
"Dann you never t of us when you have to leave" Matt spoke as we were eating
"At the end of the month" I told him
"What" Everybody yelled, earring glares from other people in the restaurant
"So that gives us like 3 days with you not even" Sammy said
"What do you mean" I asked him
"Well aren't you going to fly out and spend some time with your family" He questioned "The end of the month is in like 8 days" He added
"Actually it turns out my first stop is in Toronto, which is like 5 hours away from my hometown, so my family is going to fly out and spend some time with me there" I told him
"So we still have all 8 days with you" Swazz asked
I nodded
They all cheered and then we continued our dinner
I look around the table. I am going to miss doing this.
