I want to add that this goes after the canon and the ages of some characters had changed for the sake of the story.  Although, all characters seemed to be in the later 18-19 years because of the pashing that led them to stay young and not age.

Leah POV:

Leah was tired of patrolling that night. She just wanted to sleep in her bed in her beautiful house. It was at the edge of the forest still connected to the La Push but farther from anyone else in the Reservation. But a nice large backyard and space near the trails of the path for the wolves to run they patrol and eat here without disturbing the entire Reservation in fear of being caught phasing. she hoped to received her pack but not now, for now, others would be able to appreciate her house. She bought the house a few months after she broke up with Sam. She loved this house because of the features. She worked hard to earn it, and her house might be more significant than the average, but unlike her packs Reservation (Sam and Jacob), she met other packs that were much more developed and were very wealthy packs. Their village wasn't suffering from a trivial dispute or threatening vampires or other crazy werewolves, and her house was also at the border of these packs so she could rely on their economy and opportunities to boost her land of the house and work for it. 

No one from the Quileute Reservation knew where she was living except Jared; without him, she didn't know what she would have done. Soon maybe her brother Seth would be let in the secret and so the pups that she could certainly help more than Emily.

Her phone rang, and she stumbled from her bed nearly falling on the ground to get it. She took her smartphone on her nightstand, courtesy of her job and the Cullen who appreciated her effort, they wanted to help the two Packs to stay in contact in case of emergency even in their human form and not to alert the entire Rez of the howls in the night or day. 

"Yeah, hello?"

"It's me, Jared. Sorry to disturb you, but Sam wants a meeting now. From what I know, the situation is urgent. "

"Ok, I'm coming."

She changed quickly and sped toward Emily and Sam's house. She entered and sat on a couch in the living room after greeting Jared and her brother, she was sat next Embry and her brother. The other was slowly, Leah was told but those who were there were already scattered in the living room either standing up or sitting on a couch, chair or on the floor. The imprints were there for the first time in this meeting with the only exception of Emily. Usually, the imprints weren't allowed to be at the meeting, rule convened by the Council and the Alpha after a long overdue talk. Most of the time the meetings were in Sam and Emily's house which was previously Sam and her house, and she did pay a part of the house and kept paying for it with the mortgages still not completed. Emily never had the decency of paying the difference. Therefore Leah was mandatory to pay the taxes, and she did send a mail about this situation, but its seem that her cousin never cared about this. Since it was in their house, Emily would always make an excuse to stay and stated her point of view and say that she was the mate of the alpha, explaining her presence at every single meeting.

Chief Swan was here, surprisingly, he usually stayed for the many bonfires of the Packs and the council not for a meeting. He was still in the police department of Forks, for him to come, things were about to be serious if they want involvement of a "human". He knew about the vampires and the shape-shifters. The Elders finally arrived and were given comfortable seats or angle to see the packs and the imprints that would be involved in the meeting. The Elders including her parents had saluted and a small talk in a whispering tone with Charlie before taking place.
