Selena...

Cara wasn't joking when she said that she wanted absolutely 'no fuss'. Apart from me, she had only Gigi Hadid, Miranda Kerr, Behati Prinsloo, Josephine Skriver, Nina Dobrev, Martha Hunt and Lily Aldridge as her guests. I was surrounded by stunning females; needless to say, my self-esteem was currently on the floor. But thankfully, all of them were nice as they were gorgeous; especially Nina and Miranda who are quite close friends of mine as well.

The assistance Cara needed of me wasn't exactly for the planning but came more with cooking and I am actually wondering if this was a joke or a challenge since the food we currently have could feed 20 people and I am positively sure that there is no way in hell that these sexy creatures could eat that much.

Well, maybe apart from Cara, we share the same appetite after all. It just so happens that her body pretty much stays the same even if she would spend an entire week without any work out while relying on burgers, pizzas and donuts.

I blame genetics.

We ordered cheese and margherita pizzas, but aside from that everything else were homemade. We had spinach lasagna - in an effort to stay healthy, yeah right - Buffalo wings, onion rings and my absolute favorite - tacos. Even her cakes were homemade - baked raspberry cheesecake and of course a Chococaramel fudge cake. We decided on two since we loved both flavors, though I have to admit, everything was a disaster at first since we ended up having a food fight.

The only thing that made us stop though was when we realized that it would also be us who would have to clean our fiasco. Brilliant.

Around 4PM, our favorite girl Taylor, begged for a skype session from the both of us so we set up the laptop on the kitchen counter while prancing around the room with various ingredients and utensils on hand from time to time. Naturally, she is on the guest list but she's still occupied with the last leg of her Red tour, stuck on the other side of the globe.

It wasn't easy at first, talking to Taylor; my best friend that I betrayed. I know how much she loved or perhaps still loves Harry, yet I had the audacity to do that to her when their relationship was still warm beneath its burial ground. But it was during one particular phone call that managed to pull me back to her.

She was crying but her tears were due for a different reason, one that I feared most. It was then that I realized I had to do something right for her this once. I know my actions now will never compensate for my treacherous act, but I will still try to be the best friend she deserves.

"So are you still in Rio de Janeiro? Or Cancun? Seattle? Maui? Or perhaps Tokyo?" A familiar voice questions making me look up to meet striking sapphire eyes.

"Or was it Milan, Paris or San Francisco?" Nina butted in with a smile on her face causing me to roll my eyes at my two beautiful friends who had sauntered towards me without my knowledge. Thanks to my traveler of a mind. "Whatever, but just so you know, you guys are 27 cities short."

"Really, that much huh?" Nina replied, tucking her phone out that had buzzed during our conversation. "What do you expect, she's been gone for 26 months"

"Are you really going to throw that on my face every time we have a conversation Care bears?" I ask with mock anger as I start to pile food on my plate. "Just until exactly 4 hours and 57 minutes." She answers while looking at her watch, eliciting a snort from Nina and me.

"You mean until your birthday ends?" Nina asks rolling her eyes. "Yep because until then she won't be a very good friend to me anymore."

I gasp exaggeratedly, while settling my plate down to place both hands on my hips "You mean to tell me after my efforts in your kitchen I still aren't a good friend?"
