Chapter 22: Video Chat

Igneel's POV :
Grandina just left to go shopping for this going away party she's hosting.
So now I get to spend some father and son time with Natsu.
"By the way where is Natsu?"
"He should be in his room"
I go upstairs to his room and what I see is unbelievable.

Natsu's POV:
I couldn't stop thinking about Lucy so I decided to grab my tablet and video chat with godma Layla.
Video chat...
(Rings)
(Layla picks up)
Layla: oh hello Natsu
Natsu: hi godma
Layla: how r u sweetie
Natsu: I'm good
(Lucy cries in the background)
Layla: hold on natsu....
(Leaves for a minute)
Layla: look who woke up
(Shows Lucy)
Natsu: Luce!!! I missed u!!!!
(Lucy giggles and reaches out to natsu)
Natsu: aww Luce! I wish I could hold u!
"I missed u"
"Did u miss me?"
(Lucy giggles again)
"You're so cute Luce"
I see Lucy start to reach for something and its not me. I frown a little bit
"What's she reaching for godma?"
"This" she says with a big smile
"Hey that's the bear I got Luce"
"Yep"
"Does she like it?"
Godma Layla frowns at my question and says "no"
I felt like my heart had been crushed.
Suddenly, godma Layla smiles and says "she loves it!"
"Really?" I say in misbelief
"Yep watch this"
Godma Layla hands Luce her bear and she instantly holds onto it close to her heart and smiles.
"Now watch what happens" godma says
She takes Luce's bear which causes Luce to start crying like crazy
"Godma give Luce her bear back" I plead.
"Alright Natsu"
She hands Luce back her bear. Luce instantly smile once the bear was back in her tiny arms.
"See I told you she loves her bear"
"Yeah I guess you're right" I say as I scratch the back of my head with a tint of pink on my cheeks.
"Well Natsu I hate to cut this conversation short but I need to feed Lucy and we need to go grocery shopping".
"Aww" I pout.
"Do you have to?"
"I want to talk to Lucy some more" I start feeling tears fall from my eyes.
"Aww Natsu"
"Don't cry" godma Layla pleads.
"I can't help it"
"I miss her so much" I say in tears
"I know Natsu"
I'm so hurt being away from Lucy that all these questions start popping up in my head.
"Why do we have to live so far!"
"Why did we have to leave Magnolia in the first place!"
"Natsu your father had to be closer to his job.
"Yeah I know"
"Natsu I'll tell you what you can video chat with us later before Lucy goes to bed" Godma Layla suggests
"You promise" I ask while wiping away my tears.
"I promise no its, ands, or buts about it"
"Yay!" I shout as I start jumping up and down.
"Alright Natsu we have to go now"
"Wait!" I yelled
"What is it Natsu?"
"Can I umm...
"Just say it Natsu" Godma Layla said with a smirk.
" can I umm...umm"
"Natsu if u don't need anything we really have to go now"
"Can I give Luce a kiss goodbye?" I finally say.
"Now that wasnt so hard now was it" Godma Layla said with a smirk still on her face.
"No" I muttered quietly.
My face was as red as my dad's hair.
Godma Layla holds Luce to the camera and she just smiles at me.
"Her smile is so cute"I think to myself.
"Luce"
I inch closer to the video screen with what seemed like hours.
My lips finally touched the video screen.
"Mwah"
I pull away with my face even redder if that's even possible.
"Bye Natsu talk to you later"
"Bye"
"Love ya"
"We love you too Natsu"
Video chat ended....
I'm getting ready to cut my tablet off when I hear....
"AHEM"
